Star Wars Star Wars Discussion Thread - LET THE PAST D-! Oh, wait, nevermind

Jacen at least had the virtue of being intimidating, most of the time (please forget that time when a Mando Hit Squad made him look like a punk). Kylo has never been intimidating. Also, this moment: Much better than anything in the Sequels.

Tbh, I just dont see him being able to be Emperor. Hes a instrument of Fear, and no one really likes him or belive he will do a good job. Plus, the Public has at best, a highly vague idea of who he is, which makes him taking control even more difficult. Honestly, the only people I can see...

Simply put, when given the choice between disappointing you and millions of others in a way which won’t affect them materially in anyway and helping to provide education to millions of others in some shape or form, I think the moral choice is very clear.

Meh. Our enjoyment in fact matters less in the end compared to four billion dollars in charity. He made his decision and I completely respect it.

I would say the Empires destruction of Alderran still damaged the economy mainly because of just how it destroyed trust. Imagine being an investor and you see a crazy government who is willing to destroy a core world, how’s your confidence going? The independent Economy, who isn’t directly...

I mean, I think the Andor parts actually are quite interesting. Granted the Aldhani parts can be abit slow (not bad but slow) but when you hit the pay off, it’s utterly fantastic. The Spin Gulag is also interesting all the way Through in my view and thankfully they don’t do too much filler...

Its kinda of insane how in the TV shows we get people who I believe are at least genuinely trying and do care about the franchise to well...these chuckleheads, who come in fully from Hollywood nepotism. Heres hoping that the Movie just quietly dies in a closet.

They got blinded by the MCU and didnt realize that only worked because of Unique talent in Kevin Feigie and a wealth of background material to pull from.Star Wars, as a epic trilogy could not of worked that way. Now, maybe if they had thrown out Rogue one quality style spinoffs every year, and...

The only thing good even in comparison about Denningsverse is that you had a far more competnent and menacing villian in evil Jacen. Otherwise? total shit. I want to say again, dont turn skywalkers evil. Allow Luke and Leia to be good parents and die happy for the love of god. Also, no suffering...

I mean I’d argue that’s because we only see the bad times because peace and harmony are boring and because 25,000 years is way too long for people to really take seriously. Mind you, if you manage to last a thousand years that the Russan Republic did, your still very hot shit, but I can see why...

Aks in Halo actually make sense considering that the starter enemies are rag tag earth descended insurrectionists but Star Wars, yeah not even trying, lol.

Of course there is the fact that Vader knows quite abit about Satine and the fact she was Obi Wans lover… that alone might cause him to come over and burn shit. If Obi Wan comes out of hiding Yay, he’s succeeded in his goal, if Obi Wan is dead or stays hiding, he gets to kill his lover as payback.

How dare you say Space Samuel Jackson dosent get to act like Samuel Jackson? What heresy is this?! In all seriousness, though, fair cop and only fed into their downfall: the apperance of both Dooku and Mace made the “Oh no, it’s a Jedi coup” thing Palpatine was on a lot more believable to the...

In a way which is inconsistent with the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars era. Thats all about when they are retreating from the Galaxy, becoming isolated monks at the whim of the Senate, not big powerful boys who announce how big they are. Cbaoth is diffrent because he got made before the...

I honestly think that was just “Oh, that’s cool, but we need a cheap thrill so…”. If this was in another piece, say a Book, or where they gave special focus, but nah, we have some filler to do. And so, Disney got their filler episode.
