Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

I gotta say, I really liked Armsmaster talking back to Alan Gramme It was like one of those “You had one REALLY bad day? Lots of people have those and they turn out fine” as I recall Even got kinda pissed at Mannequin trying to make the comparison Man, if Sphere could still speak, I swear...

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

I’ve mostly only read Worm and parts of earlier Ward, but generally the Heroes are much nicer people than the Villains I don’t see the whole “two sides of the same coin” as applying to most of said heroes Uber & Leet have probably ruined the lives of many in the “games” they livestream.

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

@JagerIV I recall that the Wards got $50,000 per year, though that may all go into some "college fund" or only be accessed when they're adults I'm not sure about the wants and needs of the adult superheroes working in the Protectorate, but from what I recall, their lifestyles were mostly...

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

Don’t forget, the Death Penalty or Life In Prison is more-or-less a thing Hell, I think most villains are actually Birdcage-worthy, they just break out on the way and there’s less effort in holding them because it’d be too much trouble or outright war to do so Kill Orders are for the...

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

Yup Honestly, I’m thinking of those MaoYuu sort of Deconstructions wherein there tends to be stuff like said “Hero” being possibly insane or with a VERY Black&White perspective with zero mercy towards those they see as “evil” I think they also have a tendency to go on and say “For Justice!!!”...

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

Plus, when it's with "Guilds" in fantasy settings not as if we always see the heads of state around You know, now that I think about it, Monster Hunter International almost has something of a "Guild System", hell you could start up your own new "Guild" and you could probably go monster hunting...

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

There was a thread awhile back about Post-Apocalyptic Settings and how come they’re so orderly or rebuilt I’m reading something called Rebuild World, a series about some Shota slumdog with a Hot AI Waifu The world’s more or less ruled by some corporations who are currently in charge of...

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

Yeah, an "Evil Superhero" is just a supervillain And those going on about "deconstructions" may miss out on how the superheroes themselves have been "tempted" before and learned to control themselves to avoid going bad Brightburn as a "deconstruction" of Superman FAILS when you take into...

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

It helps give a sense of "order" in-contrast to a bunch of murderhobos randomly wandering the land It's less about killing and more about unnecessary property damage I read a bit of the Vigilantes-Prequel set maybe 2-3 years before the start of BNHA, they stopped the MC from using his...

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

Not talking about MHA Was thinking "The Boys" at first, where the "superheroes" there are a bunch of disgusting hedonistic idiots who never really actually fight or have actual fighting experience on average and are protected by PR teams Though I've noticed Japan's got a thing for making...

Superhero “Deconstructions” and somehow “superheroes” becoming Hollywood Celebrities

This is a thing I tend to notice with said “deconstructions” is that they end up working for the government or a corporation They’re actually “actors” who just so happen to have superpowers or they’re required to do advertising for their company while doing superheroics that are seen by people...
