Honestly, they seem sorta close to acting like modern SJWs writing X-Men stories, but with the villains mostly just being humans and sentinels who aren’t that really threatening or scary, just pathetically evil and unlikable

In the first place, you can sorta tell that the effort they put into world building and other characters and especially antagonists’ kinda minimal Plus, they don’t want to actually deal with supervillains or the Akatsuki, they want to bash “Society”

I guess it’s also a side effect of people being annoyed by how “weak” Harem MCs are and want to replace Bland Uncanny Nice Guy with a Chuuni Edgy Douche who’s victimised by the world like a NINO character
