It continues to boggle my mind how much these people seem desperate to prove all the crazy moral panics and slippery-slope arguments right.

I think we've just been given an example of how that is not longer the case. And while their actual consumer base does lean conservative, has that ever stopped any of these companies from going woke though? Just look at the NFL. During the early 2000s they did everything they could to court...

I almost wonder if this was either an ill-conceived attempt at growing their audience, or to try to win hearts and minds, so to speak, from their actual audience, and they just took it for granted that they were the most popular beer and that their audience would always be there.

They had to have realized that this was the reaction they were going to get. Look at what happened with Gillette. This is part of why I wonder if it isn't intentional in order to destroy these things.
