Thanks for explaining. The idea of using the "contact us" form never passed my mind. Is it mentioned in the "await confirmation" e-mail? I no longer remember, and I admit I'm not always the most attentive of readers. There may be other dimwits like me out there :)

Not sure if this is "bug report" or "suggestions" or "important" - or even if in the correct section ... so, Powers That Be, re-tag or move as appropriate. I tried to get onboard around 1st December and I finally joined on 10.XII, which took me over a week of repeated requests for confirmation...
