I'd rate Bay as about as bad as JJ. I don't care if people like him or not. His movies are genuinely trash. But a different kind of trash than JJ and Ryan. The sequels were really really bad. Like unbelievably bad. So bad that Michael Bay trash movies would have a actual chance of being better.

You aren't wrong. But it's best not to swing too far in the other direction. The sequels make the prequels look great. But the prequels are still really bad. I didn't like NJO. It did have some great stuff in it but overall I didn't really care for it.
