Colombia's Hippo Population
Apparently hippo meat is quite good. Frederick Russell Burnham made a bid to make hippo meat (which he called "Lake Bacon") a staple in the US meat industry at one point. Never tried it but apparently it's stronger flavored than beef, less strong than mutton, and marbled more like pork. So...- Word Count: 78
