If the Confederacy wins the American Civil War, is the Union going to become revanchist over the next several decades and beyond?
I can't see either nation giving up its western land claims and if another Bleeding Kansas type affair breaks out the Union will get revanchist really quick. The US was late to abolition among the great powers and at least the UK and France would find it embarrassing to support the Confederacy...- Word Count: 110
