It depends. Some of it sucks, some of it doesn’t. This particular building, I agree, is a terrible design for a courthouse but would work as a hotel. Brutalist architecture, OTOH, is just fugly. I’ve never seen one building that looked at all impressive, and that includes Boston City Hall. OTOH...
