Wasn't shocked seeing Harris County DA Kim Ogg (D) getting blasted by 50 percentage points in last week's Democratic primary election. I knew there was a backlash brewing, but wasn't expecting Ogg to lose that terribly.

Now that's quite intriguing to discovering this.

Embattled TX State Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) seriously considering launching primary challenge against United States Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) in 2026. If Cornyn retires by NOT seeking reelection to 5th term, Paxton waltzes into the United States Senate.

I do NOT see Phelan losing his seat in the TX House of Representatives & including the Speakership considering he's in a super safe district.

Especially half of the TX House of Representatives, who voted to impeach Paxton back in late May: I was like y'all better start looking for jobs in the private sector in 2024. It was freaking obvious the TX State Senate was NEVER going to remove the scumbag.
