I have a bare understanding of the situation except there's farmers upset about the reforms so they protested which got out of hand. They just made instant support to rally against outside interference.
Depends on the Farmer. Core of it is that by law there is a specific association group that have a legal monopoly on purchasing from Farmers. They dictate price effected a bit by government mandates for all produce and farmers mostly are legally required to only sell to them.
Anti reform groups argue that this benefits the farmer as a security measure for a stable price. Pro ones call it what it is, a state enforced monopoly.
