I've always said that we shouldn't ban Nazis for the same reason we don't ban other Communists: fighting them in the forums and winning is better than silencing them. Respectfully, I fundamentally disagree with the coffee house ideal. It's not that I think it's wrong to build "now", I think it's wrong to build "period". There isnt a time when lack of strength in the face of what's wrong becomes acceptable, only a time when the fighting of those stronger than yourself makes weakness easier.

To put it more simply, I think lively, candid interactions between men should have a fundamental "roughness". Men arguing *should* be intense, aggressive, and at the same time coherent and composed. Men have to be rough to be men.
