I know they do, but alas it sucks for my own dating life (and to a lesser extent, overall social life) in the meantime.

If there's one thing I have learned in life, stop caring about what other people do, don't let it effect your own life.
If the fact that many people are whores is hurting your dating life, stop dating. Find more productive things to do, get a hobby, make friends, etc.
There's no sense in shaking your fist at a storm which won't move no matter what you do.
