Going to be real with you, I'm not even sure what that is. So it can't be very good. But I am going to guess...Force Unleashed? As you wish...

I really hate Bethesda's take on the Brotherhood of Steel, They were actually sort of interesting when they were just a declining group of tech hoarders that couldn't move on but they are always front and center. But that is sort of Bethesda and Amazons problem in general they keep clinging onto the old world shit rather than moving beyond that. The bombs were suppose to be the reset button and the focus should of been on the new civilizations that arise from that.
In FO1 the first thing they do to recruits is send them on 'quests' that are guaranteed to kill them. Because:When were the brotherhood just a declining bunch of horders in the non-bethesda games?
Because it wasn't 1, where in the end they became an R&D powerhouse in the NCR.
And it wasn't 2, where they were still actively involved in the world and trying to take on the enclave.
And it wasn't tactics, where the viewpoint chapter had evolved into a new form to match the evolving wasteland.
And it wasn't Brotherhood of Steel, where...well, let's not pry into that.
In FO1 the first thing they do to recruits is send them on 'quests' that are guaranteed to kill them. Because:
1: They don't take recruits
2: Recruits piss them off
Literally the first thing they tell you is 'lmao go kill yourself, return if by some miracle you survive, protip: you won't!'
Circa FO1 their mantra is 'tech for us, nothing for anybody else!' and they don't take recruits. And? Them choosing to not recruit outsiders doesn't make them a bunch of stagnet tech horders.

Fallout: New Vegas but aside from that they were never an R&D powerhouse for NCR that was the Shi. They literally just roam around and steal technology from people like bandits to hoard it. As the wasteland started becoming more civilized they were fading into irrelevancy and couldn't keep up with growing powers like NCR.
The Brotherhood of Steel helps the other human outposts drive the mutant armies away with minimal loss of life, on both sides of the conflict. The advanced technology of the Brotherhood is slowly reintroduced into New California, with little disruption or chaos. The Brotherhood wisely remains out of the power structure, and becomes a major research and development house.
Its the one specific ending that actually is canon. That's only in one specific ending that wasn't cannon. Well sort of the cannon ending is sort of a blend of that and the steel plague.
Its the one specific ending that actually is canon.
I think that's because of the Enclave in FO2.Technically it is but what we actually see of them in the sequel and New Vegas has them closer to the Steel Plague.
I think that's because of the Enclave in FO2.
I actually like the Institute concept 🥴
Hopefully the shows has the Institute winning canon.
