I really hate Bethesda's take on the Brotherhood of Steel, They were actually sort of interesting when they were just a declining group of tech hoarders that couldn't move on but they are always front and center. But that is sort of Bethesda and Amazons problem in general they keep clinging onto the old world shit rather than moving beyond that. The bombs were suppose to be the reset button and the focus should of been on the new civilizations that arise from that.

That's kind of the point of the Ghouls and why they face so much discrimination they literally look like rotting corpses and people are inherently repulsed by that.
No one wants to see Mr. Pizza goopy face dripping all over the place in a TV show.

It'd look nauseating and turn off the casual audience or goofy as fuck.

This is one thing I can 100% agree and be against Bethesda on.

I'd honestly prefer if the Institute destroyed the East Coast Brotherhood 😂

The only thing that really makes me disappointed in the series is never seeing the laser rifle in action, it's probably because of budget reasons.

I hope they don't fuck it up in the future and it does some crazy ass pew pews and ash vaporizations.

So it makes sense that some Ghouls can live longer than others without going Feral it just depends on the amount of rads they get over time.

A Ghoul from New Vegas where there is less radiation will have a easier time than one in the East Coast
FO2 has ghouls in a damned nuclear powerplant and they're all fine. Hell a lot of em are so radioactive they're glowing!

Yeah but the question is what defines normies in this case. I've been following fallout since Fallout 3 (Skipped 76 because it just seemed like unused DLC for Fallout 4)
You're a normie if you haven't at least beaten Fallout 1, once. Which should take you a day or two tops.
It's like proclaiming yourself to be a Star Wars fan without watching Ep 4, it'd be so nonsensical.

dude even casuals aside most of us here only know fallout existed because of 3, NV and 4 so....

I'm honestly just tired of niche stuff getting butchered in pursuit of "mass appeal" everytime that happens the end result is some mediocre pile of shit that has nothing of value to it and lost everything that made it interesting.

I actually followed a guy that became a fan through the EU, so you'd be suprised.

Yeah but did he think the trash EU was better than the OT? If so, he's a normie and his opinion can be discarded. :V
If you haven't played FO1 or 2, I seriously suggest playing one of them...Ideally FO1. 2 is a bit of a nightmare to get into to be honest.
