I used to do a blog reviewing obscure and terrible comics, with crossovers like that being my bread and butter. Robocop vs. Terminator was actually rather good for the genre, beat the heck out of Avengelyn.
From the Wiki Synopsis...
As Skynet's machines exterminate the last of humanity, human soldier Florence "Flo" Langer infiltrates their systems and learns Skynet first became self-aware through contact with the cyborg RoboCop, using his human consciousness and ability to interface with machines to gain sentience and spark the nuclear war that leads to Skynet seizing control over Earth. Flo travels back in time to Detroit and kills RoboCop before he can awaken Skynet, which in this story is an orbital defense system, defeating the machines in the future. To prevent their downfall, the machines send three terminators to protect RoboCop...
Yeah, it was literally almost exactly this vs. Debate, just adjusted to integrate RoboCop into the Terminator timeline instead of using ROB.
I really enjoyed the ED-209 Crowning Moment of Heroism in one of those crossover comics where he did the noble sacrifice play to eliminate a T-800. Usually not a big fan of anthropomorphizing... errrr humanizing everything... but it was very sweet to see ED-209's get a brief moment of being the hero.
ED-209's are like one of my favorite war machines of death in general. Like giant innocent two legged rocket launching murder puppies!
I'm not crying. Your crying! Piss off!
