When a little chaos is introduced into a stagnated system, it's usually beneficial. At the very least, it reveals the true extent of the rot for all to see.

Twitter (itself very much rotten) is deeply tied into a wider system of moribund structures. By taking over Twitter and introducing chaos into it, Musk has (quite possibly inadventently) caused a series of effects that resonate outward. Effects that others can also exploit, for varied purposes.

I mean under the previous management it was definitely dying a long death.

I'm half wondering if something like this was the plan all along. Elon just wanted to kill twitter. I mean any regressive attempt to build a neo-twitter is likely going to fail. Because everyone is going to try and create their regressive utopia-ic (Is there a proper conjugation for that? Anyone know?) social media platform and no one will join it because it's feeding frenzy time. Cause there's going to be black twitter, and asian twitter, and white ally twitter, and GT2AA+ twitter, LBQ+ twitter, TERF twitter, SWERF twitter.

Yeah, without legacy twitter I can see a lot of splintering tbh.
