Based Corporations and Celebrities

Liberty is an Oilfield Services company that saw a competitor in the Oil & Gas Industry, was denied an order of jackets by North Face, a popular specialty/outdoors clothing company apparently because NorthFace decided not to do business with Oil & Gas Companies... so the Liberty CEO started an ad campaign called #ThankYouNorthFace to illustrate the hypocrisy of the company.

Royce White, formerly of Iowa State, currently plays for the The Big 3, a 3v3 Basketball League that is broadcast on CBS.

Commentator John Salley asked him about his shirt which said "Free the Uyghurs" and Royce White humbly replied: "Free the Uyghurs: Two million ethnic minorities in East Turkestan China in concentration camps. Something we gotta talk about. You know I'm always going to talk about the real things."

Subway Franchise Owners criticized their parent company over having the purple haired soccer star Megan Rapinoe as the Subway Spokesperson.

Daily Wire said:
“Your NAASF Board has already communicated with [Subway] leadership the concerns voiced by NAASF membership,” the group’s executive director, Illya Berecz, told franchisees, according to a letter obtained by The Post.

“I had a bunch of franchisees calling me on this today,” a lawyer who represents Subway franchisees told The Post earlier this week. “They are trying to get the ads pulled.”

Another reverse recommendation from Todd In the Shadows (he really didn't like this one) this time for Aaron Lewis and his "Am I the Only One"

Here's a copy here:

His hatred of this song and Staind make me laugh.
Todd is honestly kinda pathetic; a guy who review pop songs on the internet for a living, who is just as shallow and vapid as his chosen genre of music is often seen as.

Country star Carrie Underwood liked a post (alongside 44,000 others) by Daily Wires Matt Walsh which contained a speech by him to a Nashville School Board criticizing its mask mandate.

This got her trending on Twitter as many started desiring her cancellation or ruination.

She hasn't apologized... yet.

A restaurant posted a sign telling all who support Biden to go eat somewhere else, those who support the "the worthless, inept and corrupt" weren't welcome there. They were forced to close a few days later.

Haha, no, they weren't canceled although I'm sure some people tried. They had to close their doors temporarily because they became so popular overnight they sold out of every crumb of food they had.

Reposting here.

Someone helpfully posted a list of games to buy from this Developer.

I am reminded of that Canadian restraunt that ethically sourced all it's meat being protested by some anti meat group. The cook got so pissed he grabbed a piece of meat, trimmed it right in front of them, cooked it and ate it right there. That restaurant was booked for the next three years I recall after the news got out.
