So anyone remember that guy that chopped off a guy's head and ate his eyeballs (among other parts) on a Greyhound bus? Apparently that guy is living completely free under a new identity with no restrictions. Ah, Canada.
Oh, of course, just as there is no war in Ba-Sing-Sa, and the Americans are not in Baghdad either. Please do your research before posting inflammatory stuff.
Canadian polls not on hold ‘indefinitely’ due to Covid-19
At this rate, not that implausible...Great, doughboy is gonna end up winning a majority. Canada is truly fucked unless we launch a revolution to get rid of the globalists in government.
Yeah, and Erin O’Toole is just as useless. I might as well throw my vote away in favor of the bloody PPC, Libertarian Party or Maverick Party. At this rate, not that implausible...
You know shit's hit the fan when the People's Party of Canada is looking like a attractive alternative to the two main parties.Yeah, and Erin O’Toole is just as useless. I might as well throw my vote away in favor of the bloody PPC, Libertarian Party or Maverick Party.
I agree with the PPC on most of it's points, except immigration.Even worse though, my riding has Jagmeet friggin' Singh as its rep.
I didn't really think highly of the PPC until I met Laura Lynn (who ran for the seat in my riding that Jagmeet Singh eventually won), who subsequently switched from running for federal to provincial. Other than that, I used to think Wexit was a good strategy until the guy who first became the leader of the federal Wexit Party had to resign due to reasons.
The Conservative Party is pretty much Canada's version of the motley group of RINOs at this point. A pity that the PPC might display significant anti-Asian sentiment, which is a concern for me as a first generation immigrant of Filipino heritage.A pity this election won't give Derek Sloan any time to set up that new party he's been talking about. (In fact I'd imagine that's one of the reasons Trudeau's calling it so early, so as to not give the - bluntly - shambolic opposition any chance to organize) As is, I'll probably spend my vote on the PPC at this point - only reason I ranked O'Toole above MacKay on my CPC leadership ballot was because he was ostensibly less of a Liberal-with-a-blue-tie than the latter, and it turns out he can't even get that right.
That's also my main reservation with the PPC, as a first generation Chinese-Indonesian immigrant myself. Still, the other options on the table are bad enough that I'm willing to wait & see if they avoid the generally anti-Asian pitfall and who their local candidate in my riding will be. Failing that, though I really don't like O'Toole - as you say he and his ilk are basically our RINOs, and I consider him as much an improvement over Trudeau as getting hit by a car might be an improvement over getting sucked into a jet engine - I'm willing to vote for the Tory in my riding since I've met him and he's an alright guy.The Conservative Party is pretty much Canada's version of the motley group of RINOs at this point. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a good candidate to unseat Jagmeet Singh from the riding.
Mind that slippery slope.
