Now. Mostly in terms of policies and how he increased government overreach.
Because of the Democrats screeching post-9/11 about racial profiling and the like. It's a big part of why the Fort Hood shooter wasn't caught and stopped beforehand, and why they declared that to be a case of "workplace violence" rather than a terrorist attack.
Which would probably be an example of him caving to the Dems because everyone was constantly yelling about how he was literally Hitler and wanted to put Muslims into camps.
Islam =/= Race though?
Fair enough, I’ve known a fair amount of Europeans convert in my country though.Correlates with Arab, though.
Ah, I guess the left is the same everywhere. It's not, but the Democrats love to conflate the two.
Like clockwork, fresh off the heels of a bill that would deny security clearances to so-called “conspiracy theorists” (read: Trump supporters), Senator Duckworth suggested that the DOD monitor the social media habits of its employees for “extremist views.”
Did you ever amplify a dissident hashtag like #StopTheSteal? Have you ever added cognitive contraband like Pepe Hot Sauce to your Amazon wish list?Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) on Monday suggested that the Pentagon find a way to examine the social media habits of incoming and existing service members who show tendencies toward extremist views.
“It’s not a new thing, but I will tell you that I have seen over the last probably two decades this growing radicalization of a portion within the military. And I think part of it too comes with social media consumption,” Duckworth, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, said at The Hill’s Future of Defense Summit. [The Hill]
That’s how easy it would be to end up in an FBI “lead generator.”
And now, if Senator Duckworth and her allies in the Pentagon, Big Tech, FBI/CIA/DOJ and media get their way, your career in the military will be over before it begins.
The years old Vice story about FBI’s use of sentiment analysis software illuminates unanswered questions regarding the Agency’s methods in subjecting 25,000 National Guard troops to “ideological extremism” tests:
Twelve National Guard troops have been removed from duties related to the inauguration of President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr., two of them for possible links to right-wing extremist movements, Defense Department officials said on Tuesday.
The two made inappropriate comments or sent inappropriate texts, officials said. Another group of 10 were flagged for reasons unrelated to recent events in the Capitol.
Officials declined to provide any details about the vetting that detected the Guard members, who are from different states.
The acting defense secretary, Christopher C. Miller, said on Sunday that the F.B.I. was assisting the U.S. military in vetting more than 25,000 National Guard troops being deployed to assist in protecting the Capitol and areas in central Washington for potential security concerns.
An Army spokesperson declined to provide any information on the two National Guard troops or the vetting procedures, citing operational security, and referred all questions to the U.S. Secret Service. [NYT]
In fact, sentiment analysis software like Babel Street likely represents only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to resources the FBI and security state has at its disposal. Readers may recall an earlier Revolver report on disgraced Obama General Stanley McChrystal’s involvement in a software company that deploys technology originally designed to combat ISIS against Trump supporters:
So, in General McChrystal we have a former General in Afghanistan involved in a firm deploying information warfare tools designed to fight ISIS against Trump supporters. In Jared Cohen, former Hillary State Department official turned Google’s “director of regime change,” we have a man deploying military grade AI censorship tools to police internet conversation, with politically predicable biases.
These two troubling cases must be understood within the context of the undeniable corruption of large swaths of America’s national security bureaucracy–from the CIA, to the FBI, to the DOJ, to other top military brass. Over the past four years we have seen how each institution has been corrupted and repurposed–not to advance American national security interests, but to suppress expressions of populism and nationalism domestically. Ironically, while the national security establishment likes to accuse its adversaries of using weapons “against their own people,” increasingly corrupt elements of the national security state are doing just that—repurposing our vast security apparatus to suppress political expression and activity at home.
I guess it’s just weird when I see stuff like reluctance to profil Islam who does most of the terrorism, and then go to town profiling christian, who rarely do terrorist act because of their religion nowadays.
Kind of make it feel like they are vindicating terrorism if that make sense?
It's not inconsistent to treat your enemies different than your allies.
Friend / Enemy distinction is something the Right has to learn.
Have you been living under a rock for the last 20 years? The war on terror, 9/11 any of it ring a bell lol?It is? Why?
They believe that nuclear weapons have brought us back to the time of cabinet wars prosecuted with limited means for limited ends, largely fought by deniable proxy forces.
That's what I assumed. I think you're overthinking it to an extent. In the post-WW2 modern moral framework, Hitler is the incarnation of ultimate evil. Churchill may have been making a quip, but I suspect if asked to pick between Hitler and the devil, most liberals and right liberals, even those who call themselves christians, would side with the devil in a heartbeat. Therefore most moral arguments under this modern framework boil down to arguing about who is more or less like Hitler. Hence both the endless comparisons of Trump to Hitler from liberals and stuff like D'Souza and people like him's endless "Democrats are the real fascists" or DR3 arguments.
It is? Why?
Eh yes and no.Because of the Democrats screeching post-9/11 about racial profiling and the like. It's a big part of why the Fort Hood shooter wasn't caught and stopped beforehand, and why they declared that to be a case of "workplace violence" rather than a terrorist attack.
So technically they can do this, but at the same time they have tk have reason to go into someone's account, and be given permission by thier chainFBI Deploys Creepy "Sentiment Analysis" Tools To Screen National Guard For Pro-Trump Sympathies - Revolver News

No.So,USA army would be turned into brainwashed thugs, and real fighting made by kind of american Foreign Legion?
It is working for France,so why not for USA ?
That is true (as with all religions in general), but it tends to gravitate towards violence and chaos, like all things. To be fair to Islam its a mostly peaceful religion.
That is true (as with all religions in general), but it tends to gravitate towards violence and chaos, like all things.
It's the same for all religions though.
Crusades by the Christians, European wars of religion, Spanish Inquisition, Rohingya genocide, etc.
That is not what is going to happen.Every member of the military removed by the Commicrats is a member gained by the Trump Alliance.
(just like how some of the best personnel and officers in the Rebel Alliance were former Imperials/stormtroopers)
This is how Civil War II is going to start.
