I see other people recognize you from another site, but I was kind of wondering if you were the guy on YouTube who discusses swords and other sharp and/or pointy weapons.
hey just found this site and discovered your 40k SI story and found it to be awesome , creative and well thought out as well as better than almost every other 40k SI I have come across so far, any hopes of it seeing a continuation or is it dead ?

Abrasax was the one I meant , great that its your next story , since very few authors have it in them to try an era other than the 41st millennia or the crusade
You have been around more lately! Is Kane driving you less hard? Should I be worried about a grander orbital plot?

I figured I wanted to be a part of the community, and see if I can get reengaged in more long form posting.

Also, we're in a curfew here, and most of my family are down south, so I have a lot more free time lol
Hello and welcome aboard, thanks for leaving the likes on my fic, hope you enjoyed it thus far, feel free to make any comments if you'd like. :)

You're very welcome, and thank you for warmly welcoming me onto the Sietch! I've yet to get through to the latest chapter and I'm sure I'll have more productive comments to make then (hopefully tomorrow or the day after), but for now, all I can say is that I really like what I've read so far.

Hey, welcome aboard! Appreciate you liking my fic, feel free to share any comments if you'd like.
Separate question for this: would you say that in regards to things like China and trade and whatnot, it's almost irrelevant what Biden wants to do, for reasons pointed out by Peter Zeihan?
I hope you're not annoyed by my asking various questions; I am genuinely interested in what you have to say, which is why I ask you so many.

So, what do you see happening if Biden tries to move against fracking?

Basically, gas prices soar and his ass is fucked six ways to Sunday.

Biden won't move against shale. He might pass regulations and such that hurt shale, but he won't choke it or ban it. He'll do what Obama did and ignore the Greens.

It's basically when the price to extract oil from the ground starts to exceed the profit margins of extraction and the refining process to be more precise.

Edit.
My reasoning for the above comment is that if Biden is actually insane enough to go hardline and ban shale we will be one step closer to running out of fuel.

That's not even taking into account that even if Biden doesn't go hardline who'a to say the same thing won't happen when the left further radicalized at the base level.
What do you think about the likelyhood of the Dems getting their wishlist fulfilled? You know, eliminating the filibuster period, statehood for DC and Puerto Rico, packing the Supreme Court, mass amnesty for illegals, etc. And the results of them getting it.

On another subject, what do you think will be the end result of Big Tech's current purge of Trump supporters?

They are. But that's just how it has to be. It's not that these businesses want to do this. If they had it their way, people would be posting porn and shit without anyone batting an eye. The problem that they're facing is that these same people are threatening their business model; spend a shitload of money on R&D to produce high end technological products. Then force slaves or near-slaves in different countries to produce the goods at rock-bottom prices to ignorant Americans. Big Business is doing this in the same way that you might cut off your arm to stop necrosis from spreading through your entire body.

As for Biden and Harris, I'm not entirely sure what to think.

On the one hand, Biden is old and is in the earlier stages of dementia. So his ability to lead is going to be compromised. The fact that his son is under investigation and that he had alleged connections with China is also not going to work in his favor. Then again, it's obvious that Biden's administration is going to be "led by committee" sort of thing. That means that him being the weak joint won't really change much. And when you think of it, in a time of political peace, a lot of leaders are actually limited by the needs and wants of their political party and voters.

Putting in Kamala Harris won't necessarily make the administration better. If it's led by a group and not an individual, then Biden being the weak link is not a necessarily big problem. And Biden, even though he is going through dementia, is well educated in politics. So it's going to be the aspect of his mind that suffers the least, because of how deeply engrained that knowledge is. Harris is also far less popular than Biden--which is saying a lot. Kamala is probably the back-up plan for if/when Biden loses too much of his wits to be able to hold onto his position.
I am, by the only standard that matters or will ever matter, the winning team. Existence is a test that most will fail. Would you not count yourself among the victorious few?

"There are many things that aspire to be God, from worm-things to machine minds to ascended spirits of fallen kings. Given their propensity to die at the hands of a mere Human with a gun and a companion cube, I find their claims to be quite tenuous indeed. Your claim is perhaps stronger. There are mortals, there are Guardians, there are monsters and paracausal gods and then there is you. The Deep. The Winnower. Matched only by the Gardener.

"And if that's all there is, then you will win. At the end of time, when the iron graves of stars are cold and your million blades still gleam with the cutting edge of Sword Logic, then you will have validated your claim... unless there is something greater than you. After all, if there are men, gods and demons, why can't there be something even greater than the Winnower and the Gardener? A Creator?

"Well then. You have a problem. Sword Logic has a flaw. For at the end of the game, the pawn and the queen go back in the same box and we will all be held accountable to that final judge, if He exists. Perhaps He doesn't, or perhaps He has lost interest in our plight altogether. But you should set aside your unrelenting Logic for the time being to determine whether He does exist, and what His standard might be.

"After all, you wouldn't want to fail His test, would you?"
How are you feeling, all things considered?

Few things go the way any politician thinks. Left or right.
Could you give your opinion on current events? Particularly the loss of the Republicans in the Senate runoff elections in Georgia, and the growing split between the old neocon establishment and the populists?

Basically, the old Neo-Liberals have realized that they can't win an election by pandering to the SJWs/Commies/Greens, because of the growing populist attitude in the United States. Their hope is I think, to try and turn the dial back to 2008 or 2016, when things started to go wrong. To that end, they have made common cause with the Neo-cons to oust Trump so that they MIGHT retake their party. The Neo-Liberals are intent on slowly pushing the far left out of positions of power and steering things back on course.

The goal of the old guard is to get rid of the populists who they view as the troublemakers and revert things back to the way they were.
The Original Sixth
The Original Sixth
That is not likely to work out. The GOP cannot win another election without the populists. The populists will probably end up purging the Neo-Cons, who will then shift over into the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party will probably shift more towards the center and leave the far leftists out in the cold. Because really, when you come down to it, they're mostly situated in Deep Blue states and don't have any other option as far as voting goes, save to spoil their own side.
