China Wuhan Virus Pandemic

So old school bubonic plague may be getting loose on the Chinese/Mongolian border area.

That happens now and then there. However because the ccp regards the Mongolians the same way they do the uyghers, they have no problem using the army to lock them all in and let the virus take its course

Consider this my full reply then; I'm not saying it isn't inconvenient, I'm saying it isn't something we cannot learn to live with. I'll grant you that there are times when even those precautions become impossible to maintain; but they should be treated like the exceptions they are, and not the rule. There are many people who have managed to endure what is being asked of them without complaint, and such should be lauded; not denigrated or dismissed.

Like it or not, this is the hand that we have been dealt; our choices are to deal with the challenge reality has presented us with as it is, or pretend as if nothing has changed and go back to the way things were. Suffice to say, I've decided to go with the former; because the latter is just going to cause more suffering in the long run.

Long story short, I think your listening to the wrong people on this one buddy. there isn't more I can say.

I feel confident saying the same about you, so if what I've said hasn't convinced you, I agree; there isn't much point in us continuing this discussion. From my perspective though, please understand that I'm going to have to try and pick up your slack, in order to keep the people I care about safe.

I can only say the same. but understand when I say whatever makes you feel better.

Plague is still around, IIRC: a few Americans catch it every year. It's just not a big deal since it can be treated/cured if caught in time.

Time to see how the campus students are taking it.
Except for the inevitable outliers, I don't think there'll be any deaths. They'll be severely ill; May need hospitalization/aid, but they won't die.

I just hope they won't be stupid and spread it intentionally or not by not taking basic precautions, like washing their hands.

Another inconvenient truth getting smothered by the Media overlords: virus spikes in States like AZ and CA are from Mexicans with dual citizenship LPRs, and other documents hopping border.
"but muh drumpf rally"

It has links to a New York Times article pointing out that this was going on...in May. Before lying became more advantageous than telling the truth.

So we've got some more useless optics games going on in Britain at the moment. We're "squeezing the brakes" due to a rise in cases which seem to be mostly concentrated in the northern areas (which, oddly enough, have a large Muslim population. And these measures have come in on the day just before Eid. Funny that). God only knows how this will prevent cases because the lockdowns did fuck all to stop the spread. I do however find it interesting that this is not a national lockdown, and the local lockdowns actually seem to have a timetable before they're rolled back. It's just more political theatre to make our government seem like they are in control of the situation. Meanwhile, Westminster is charging headfirst into "wear masks" territory, which I perceive as them trying to give a placebo to a panicked populace.

what's it going to take to get it through people's thick skulls that nothing is going to "Save" them from this virus and that one way or another nature IS going to have the last word? Either our immune systems evolve to achive individual/herd immunity or we die. Those are the only two options. All these placebo measures are doing is prolonging the inevitable at best and is doing absolutely nothing while causing social collapse in the meantime at worst. People are waiting for that magic shot, but can anyone seriously tell me they expect a vaccine rushed out this quickly to not be riddled with problems?

I expect the 'vaccines' will be highly profitable from 2022 onward after many nations enforce their adoption and the initial "at-cost" deals run out. I predict they will be less reliable than flu vaccines, but failing to comply will result in firing, expulsion, and criminal charges in many jurisdictions. With PREP Act protection in the United States and similar deals emerging elsewhere, the legal liabilities will be nationalized while the profits remain private.

If 'a few unfortunate, non-representative individuals' get poisoned in the rush to market, oh well, it was for the Greater Good.

Jesus now were at nearly 20 million cases and more than half a million deaths

I think we'll find the death count is severely exaggerated at least in America. Journalist already caught one facility in Florida trying to put down a man as a covid death even when the cause of death was a motorcycle accident.

normally I'm very pro-vaccine heck sometimes I'm mandatory vaccine in some instances. Polio, smallpox, etc. Covid is not one of those kinds of diseases and this is not one of those instances.
