Ah yes, NPR, such a bastion of journalistic integrity. :ROFLMAO:

And, no, the rest of the stuff I said is all true and has all been in the news.

Uh...
You do know hospitals operate at 90% normally anyway right?
Also, don't trust NPR, they have proven to be a biased source.
And more strawmanning...

New York got sent a hospital ship, and they barley used it, when they said they needed more hospital beds.
Same with a city in Commifornia.
They said there wasn't enough ventilators, and most were never used that were made by Trumps admin....
You might wanna look up "why" those hospital ships didn't get a lot of use...

I can't see the why because NYT is desperately asking for me to shill them money. Can you give a summary? Or do I need to archive it myself to read it? Ok fine I will do it myself.

The reason is, according to the article:

So basically, the almighty hydra of beurocracy made it annoying to transfer patients, and since the ship was there to help with COVID-19 and COVID-19 alone that is all they agreed to treat, meaning random people who came in with Covid positive but might have also had diabetes and other problems weren't likely gonna pass the test.

This isn't much of a argument. Fact is that they barely had people who fit the description of "needs medical treatment because of Covid-19 alone" and so they took few people in.

'The individual decides what gets put into their body' ranks pretty high up-there in importance, actually.

Both from a general political principle of natural rights, a medical ethics standard of (informed) consent, and general courtesy and decency as a human being.

That's a reasonable point.

It is also a manner of general courtesy and human decency to not be both ungrateful and selfish. I argue that large swaths of the population who don't want shots are being selfish because they are putting the rest of the population at risk (out of lack of trust or even spite) and are ungrateful that they even have the option when billions of other people have no option at all.

I understand if some of you don't think it's safe, but I know one of those vaccines got full approval by the FDA and yet the attitude hasn't seemed to change. So I'm not sure if safety is a cause or an excuse. Because I think a lot of people are still pissed off about the mask mandate and I think that aggravation has carried on over to vaccines.

This post is insane.

It is hardly selfish to not want to get prions disease to combat what amounts.to a glorified version of the sniffles.

Your demand for courtesy ceases to have legitimacy when 80 million Americans have genuine concern that the cure will be more lethal than the disease.

What is the point of this vaccine if you don't get any protection from it? What is the point of being vaccinated if you still have to mask up and take lockdowns? The FDA approval is a joke, as is the narrative around the vaccine.

Take the vaccine. Wait the vaccine doesn't actually protect you, but you still need it.

As someone who Vaxxed, I can hardly be anti-vax myself, but exactly how are the people not getting the shots putting the rest of the population at risk? By definition, the rest of the population must be vaccinated which means they shouldn't be vulnerable to the virus anymore. The unvaxxed shouldn't be able to put the vaxxed at risk unless the vaccine is actually just a placebo.

The only point of the vaccine is medically unnecessary social engineering and a cope for users like Sage who want to force society into some vanilla flavor it has never been.

Quinines have been used to treat coronaviruses successfully since the bronze age and magically they didn't work with this one because the Bureaucratic class was losing power and the American people began to see uniparty rule for what it was.

To a disease that only kills morbidly obese people, aids patients and the very old and frail.

Two of those three problems are personal problems and the people afflicted by them are the public health menace not those who refuse to be vaccinated.

If that 4chan post is true...Jesus, I don’t think we’ll need to wait for the Deep State to ‘win’ the 2022 midterms or 2024 election for the American Troubles to kick off.

The guy's wife wanted concentration camps for people who refuse to take the needle. We are one bad election for the uniparty or one more deep state actor exposed away from them declaring that the constitution has to be suspended and it's a state of emergency.

And the right didn't get there first when it had a chance to last year, people who thought they could cope or "stand on their principles and lose with dignity" their way out of this will realize the US was guaranteed to end in a junta from 2004 onwards.

It was only a matter of which side did it first.

The Chan link may be BS but it's coming no matter what, the Biden regime will absolutely try this sooner or later.

Normally, you'd be right. The problem with COVID however, is that it's highly mutable. Right now, the real issue is Delta. It's several times more communicable than the original COVID, bypasses natural immunity, and I think it's deadlier (though not as some of the other variants). So with Delta, you can catch it again and again and again. Throwing in the vaccines into the mix with only about half the population vaccinated creates the risk that you end up breeding a stronger and deadlier variant.

This is the same issue that played out in places like Brazil and India. A strong, healthy young population mixed with an older population allowed the virus to breed and mutate, creating stronger strains of the original virus.

That's the danger. Not that you'll get the vaccinated sick, but that you'll create an even deadlier strain. Said strain might be able to adapt to our vaccines, thereby putting us all at square one or--it creates a virus that is about ten times deadlier. Which means the vaccines are basically cancelled out, while those without the vaccine are 10x more likely to be hospitalized or die from COVID. In addition to it being several times more communicable than the base virus.

There is no nightmare scenario yet. Or even proof that one will most assuredly happen. But I think one might understand why policy makers and doctors would prefer that everyone who is able to get their shots, because we MIGHT end up creating an actual nightmare scenario.

That is not it.If vaccines was save, then their producers would be responsible for eventual deaths or illnes made by them. They are not.
And,as many other said here, why vaxxed need masks if vaccine worked? And why you accuse those who refused ? vaxxed are save,if vaccine is working. If not,why take it ?

I can't imagine the 15% tax is going to hold, if it's true. Most of the other stuff is what I've heard and is probably perfectly legal.

No coronavirus in the history of our species has ever created a nightmare scenario. For mammalian life, coronaviruses become less deadly as they mutate not more so.

Either you believe what Alex Jones said about this being airborne aids....or you're buying into hysteria.

Either way you are wrong.

Oh yeah no it only violates the hell out of half the constitution, but it's totally and perfectly legal and totally morally correct.

Totally.

Holy shit dude, stop being a fucking pussy.

~200,000,000 people have been vaccinated already. If there was a significant amount of risk or death, there'd be millions of sick and dying people right now. So far, the US has attributed ~660,000 deaths to COVID. So explain to me the fucking logic here. You're rolling your eyes at 600k deaths, but thus far, you've yet to produce similar rates for the vaccines. If even 1% of the vaccinated population had died or suffered serious illness, that'd be 2,000,000 people. That's not exactly something the Feds can just stash under the bed.

So tell me. What is the claimed death rate or massive illness that this vaccine can cause? 1%? 10%? Give me a fucking number. Because thus far I've been told a various amount of bullshit from fucking manbabies insisting that this virus will assrape them, but thus far, you don't have jack shit to show for it. What's the number of people who got fucked over for the vaccine? 10%? 1%?

Give me a number.

Or are you shitting the bed because 3 people died from blood clots related to the J&J formula? Because I got that one. Not dead yet. Feel perfectly fine. Got it back in May.

You have it the wrong way around with natural vs artificial immunity.
That's what the recently reported Israeli study has shown.
This is the same issue that played out in places like Brazil and India. A strong, healthy young population mixed with an older population allowed the virus to breed and mutate, creating stronger strains of the original virus.
And this shit is why "zero covid" strategies of all sorts are futile, causing economic and other forms of damage to prevent locally something that will happen in the world anyway and then spread everywhere. As there already were attempts to stop variant spread. They have all failed.
That's the danger. Not that you'll get the vaccinated sick, but that you'll create an even deadlier strain.
If that kind of mutation is possible naturally, it most likely is going to happen due to the sheer scale of already existing virus spread, and few hundred million unvaccinated in western world are far less likely to incubate it than the few billions of remaining people who are either unvaccinated or vaccinated with the according to all reports much crappier Chinese, Russian and other incoming vaccine variants of questionable effectiveness.
So its basically creating a significant legal, political and cultural precedent in our societies, probably for worse, for an effect that's going to marginal few percent of risk reduction at most in the grand scheme of things.

Interesting theory. Exactly why do you believe that to be the case?

Either you believe what Alex Jones said about this being airborne aids....or you're buying into hysteria.

Or, like most people not brain damaged enough to watch Alex Jones or accept a false dilemma, I'll happily ignore both.

Either way you are wrong.

Let's see here, you think people exercising their rights are being inherently selfish and should be punished for it.

You sound pretty brainwashed to me! Also the dig at info wars viewers is adorable. Turns out they're more informed than most of us who spent a decade criticizing them thought.

Wrong about what?

A potential nightmare scenario. Unless you concede this is a bioweapon that was deliberately deployed then there's no reason for it to do something those bugs have never done.

All of it dude, all of it.

The totality of everything. You are wrong on all accounts.

Feel tough now?

Do you? You seem perfectly willing to endorse the disenfranchisement of tens of millions of Americans in a retaliatory measure to castigate them for using their own judgment.

That's rather un-American of you and far more in line with the seditious accusations levied against the more right leaning userbase by the prior staff during their Jan 6th chimp out than anything was actually said by anyone.

Open VAERS

The VAERS report is from the CDC reporting adverse reactions from the vaccine

Oh Jesus it's at a million and a half now? I thought it was still in the tens of thousands for reports.

Deathtolls up too!

Yeah we need army doctors shoving this in our arms Ns the loss of our rights and freedoms and to be murdered by hospital administrators over this. Totally.
