Nepotism in their minds is probably only in-regards to friends and family, or just family. Guess they need some updates or to look up the whole term.
Though, it may help that those guys doing the hiring don't even know the person.

That's what killed the comics industry.
Parts of the entertainment industry is already in trouble for sexual favors in exchange for roles.
They probably don't, and I made an error by calling it just nepotism, it is also cronyism and which it is varies from case to case and it can be both. And they probably don't think it is cronyism in any way either, and it does probably help because it allows them to maintain that mental illusion.
Indeed it was, I was already thinking along these lines to a degree.
And yes that is a similar problem, trading of sexual favors should probably be limited to other things that are less how would you say...corrupt. People are always going to deal in such things, if they have the goods, or if they have the means to buy them, or to a degree coerce them, but we can limit it as much as possible. I do wonder is simping in a sense the same phenomenon, except with the power dynamics flipped upside down?

Korra had the out of nowhere lesbian ending.
The comic was way worse.
Because they think that bad guys need to all be homophobes because committing genocide is not bad enough.
And the Aang and Kataras daughter is lesbian as well.

It wasin't much of a spoiler for me,I could tell you she was a butch lesbian within the first couple of episodes. When I saw her, somthing just screamed Hollywood tryhard.
funniest thing is, a good chunk of "butch lesbians"....ain't lesbians.

Not really hoes mad like all the girls at only fans mad at that Disney star breaking their hustle but it's comic book writers mad at a celebrity like Keanu Reeves making his way into comic books that'll take in imaginary money they'll never get.
I mean, I did my usual thing of trying to avoid shipping canon pairings by shipping on the hypotenuse, and then they screwed me over by actually pairing it.
Eh, it's the avatar, I don't have much of a problem with it. It was compensated by not being able to learn air, and from a Doylist POV, they already had an avatar learn all 4 elements, so they didn't want to repeat that part of the story.
