United States Why Do Libertarians Always Lose?

They use good,solid,logical arguments - but in RL in politics win emotions.So, they must change their style.

I’ve tried pointing out similar, though problem is when you deal with the ideaological zealots who just insist that those benefits can only come from them and that Libertarians are a bunch of Fascists

It’s convincing the moderates, centrists and those who are saner amongst any party left, that’s what really should be done

In Asia libertarian ideology always struggles because it's up against thousands of years of cultural and social inertia. Sure, academics, religious figures, even fresh-in/out-of-university students preach liberal values (sometimes violently), and politicians juice up their campaigns and speeches with it, but libertarian ideology has to make room for the previously-mentioned weight of history, and not the other way around.

Long story short, Asian values. That's not to say they're incompatible, as Japan's postwar economic miracle, China's rise to become the world's second largest economy and nascent superpower, plus the tiger economies of South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore prove that free market economies and their values of competition, innovation, creativity, etc. are something the socially-conservative bent of Asian societies can assimilate. But the libertarian focus on the individual, placing him or her above the community they're part of, is just something that is fundamentally alien to the Asian psyche.

No matter how much noise is made from inside or outside, Asians tend (and likely will continue for the foreseeable future) to favor social stability and collective prosperity if at the expense of diminishing the value of the individual, as well as maintaining a deep-rooted respect for seniority and figures of legitimate authority.

Just my two cents on the OP's question, don't mean to offend anyone.

Japan may end up having to go through a cultural reformation/revolution in the next 10-15 years if it's population keeps dwindling at the rate it is. my bet however is that it'll likely adapt 80s American conservatism before it adapts modern American progressivism

Modern American progressivism will probably more likely cause suicide rates to go up even further than before

Imagine all those burnt out salarymen coming home to neither bread&circuses that’s not stuffed with propaganda that demeans them or a loving wife and children or even family.

Hell, even friendships could get ruined as people end up having to watch each others’ backs constantly and be afraid of women #MeToo-ing them

TBF, much of those accusations towards the Left probably are true

That DeBlasio guy wouldn’t let the Jewish Community do their religious thing because social distancing whilst having big favor for the Muslims around instead

They also don’t like East Asians, or BLM and the “black Community” very much dislikes them

Why though? I assumed given China is Communist, the left would love those guys. And why doesn't BLM and the "black Community" not like them?

I recall one riot sometime in the 90s, began because an East Asian shopkeeper shot a black girl who was trying to steal from his shop. The "black community" tried rampaging in the neighbourhoods and businesses of East Asians and other areas, but they legally and illegally kept and used guns to prevent further destruction

With adequate laws in place, it's pretty clear that forcing merchants in tough neighborhoods to take down their bulletproof windows is a way to scare them out of business.

The high-ups in the Democrat party do generally love China. They can't say much about it, but how soft they've been on them (and some of the shit the Clinton administration was implicated with letting them get access to), you can see the hard left's usual idolization and enamorment with dictators in effect.

Oh yeah, I remember that. Something about how letting China access the international market would stimulate the growth of democracy from the grassroots level, and cause China to transition to a western-style Parliamentary democracy. Fast forward two decades to today, and we've got Mao 2.0 Electric Boogaloo with next-generation concentration camps in Xinjiang.

Smart...real smart, Mister Clinton. This is pretty much an unfortunate case of Asians being Asians, that is since China is overall prosperous and strong, most Chinese won't care for what the Communist Party does to stay in power, and what they lose along the way.

You'd think they'd have learned from decades of working with the Japanese, plus the example of the tiger economies. Singapore, with its especially conservative government, should have been evidence that Asians generally don't mind limited freedom in exchange for overall stability and prosperity.

That really work for leftist.Before WW1 Lenin had quarrel with socialist named Kautsky, over how to made NEW WORLD, and instead of logical argument he said "why speak with Kautsky,when i could name him renegate and traitor"
And who is remembered now, Lenin or Kautsky?

Leftist method are working - they take over Universities in USA and Europe by naming their opponent fascist,not speaking about Truth.
I do not advocate mimic them,but fight emotions with other emotions,not logic.
