So there's a limit to being woke. This prequel didn't make the cut to be released for being 'too woke.'

I’ll just wait for the next book or a Dunk&Egg book

Now the suggestion is to openly tell Democrats to lie lol.

Since when do politicians don't lie with a crossed finger behind their back as part of the job?

My father always told me to never trust politicians.

And again, I repeat, this is why Beto dropping out is bad. Cause atleast he is honest in that he wants to take away your guns and so on and so forth. Guy is not saying anything the left actually oppose. He is just honest about it.

The cartels already have a huge impact on America what with the gangs and drug smuggling and such.

I'd prefer it if Mexico would take care of the problem themselves but they seem either disinclined to or incapable of doing so.

I'd also prefer a not actual ground war and instead targeted strikes against cartel leadership until they are terrified to set foot outside of wherever they hide.

And only if Mexico allows America to do so. It seems like a pain but it's on Mexicos land and if they refuse our help leave them to it. Build the wall and shut down the border till they cleanup their mess.

When I look at the cartels they are quite a problem. I don't know how big but they allow drugs and human trafficking to spread to Mexico's neighbours that includes the US.

Kick the can further down the road then not only will Mexico be completely controlled by them but the cartels can get bigger ideas when exporting beyond the border.

Another problem are the already in the USA present cartels like the MS13 (or whatever that gang is called), who routinely get covered for by the democrats. They would have to be expelled from the sanctuary cities to a man, and that requires both shutting the democrats down, and likely fighting a city-war in a city controlled by the cartels.

Perhaps, but the issue is President Trump made one of his election-promises that he would pull the soldiers out of currently on-going wars and avoid entering more wars. If he wants to get reelected, he cannot declare war like that.

I think you drastically underestimate the willingness of the American people to fight aware against criminal pseudo-states on and our border and encroaching over it, compared to anyone on the far side of the world.

One of the major elements being that the cartels are not fanatical suicidal religious zealots. They're less willing to die, more able to recognize if they're horribly outmatched, and more likely to learn a lesson if an armored division rolls across them.

We might actually start seeing some attacks from these cartels within our own borders because of what Trump said.
What PDJT says will make very little difference to Cartel actions one way or the other. What PDJT does is an entirely different matter.

The Cartels are basically crude governments and they act in a similar way to governments. There is a sort of pile of cartels and they are all struggling to be the top dog in that pile. If they are already top dog, their actions will be calculated to keep them that way. If they are not top dog, they will be scheming to displace the present pack leader and replace him. If the position of the existing top dog is unassailable, then the other dogs in the pack will side with him and against a potential challenger. If, however, the top dog's position is weakening, then potential challengers will ally with the strongest challenger to bring down the existing leader. This is a zero-sum game; a gain for one player in the dog-pile will be a loss for somebody else.

PDJT making a speech is one thing; it means very little in the constant struggle within the dog-pile. It's of no practical significance. At most it shows that the existing leader in the dog-pile (the hegemon) is sufficiently powerful to attract attention and thus strengthens his position. If PDJT actually does something practical then that's an entirely new situation. A new player will have entered the dog-pile and, because it is a zero-sum game, that simple fact changes the balance of power. The big question then becomes, what will the existing players do about it?

First step will be to probe the new player and see how he responds. If his response is strong and forceful, then there is a new possible challenger to the existing hegemon. If the new player flinches and withdraws, then he is weak and the other players can turn on him and seize what is his. So, what happens next depends very largely on PDJT.

My country has an ongoing war on drugs by President Duterte, not sure how effective it really is, but it’s oft criticized because drug addicts or suspects get killed and supposedly according to one lady interviewed on BBC there’s absolutely no change in the number of drug consumption

Also, I remember this one FOX news interview, between Tucker Carlson(?)and this wide eyed liberal who said that the USA should be accepting South American immigrants en masse and saying it’s the USA’s fault for not investing further in their nations’ economic development

Don’t remember the rest but the wide eyed liberal kept repeating himself and was appealing to emotion when he couldn’t make logical arguments

Frankly, there is a point, fighting off those producing drugs won’t do much in the really long run

Why? Because there is still a demand for said drugs and lots of people to rehabilitate off those drug addictions. Alongside whatever poverty and unemployment that occurs South of the border that leads to more addicts and attempts at making profits with drugs

Either those issues are fixed or there comes a way to convince the cartels that it is NOT a good idea to try selling in the USA
