ISOT What Happens After ISOT American 2002 Ends?

Zyobot

Just a time-traveling robot stranded on Earth.
With its superpower status and a sixty-year head start on all things tech, it's no surprise that ISOT American 2002 ended the way it did and secured US dominance for decades to come.

What happens afterwards, on the other hand, remains up in the air. And given America's position as global hegemon for decades to come, expect the effects of its culture, technology, and military might to be felt far and wide — much to the "mixed" reception of downtimers abroad.

On March 13th, 2002, the continental United States (read: no Alaska or Hawaii) is sent sixty years back in time to the same day in 1942.

With a chance to get things right, an insurmountable technological lead, and President Bush as commander-in-chief, America commits to crushing the Axis and putting Soviet Russia in its place, as well as peacefully resolving the whole "imperialism debate" with their British and French allies.

In any case, it'll be a wild ride, though given Dubya's personality and America's worrying ineptitude when it comes to nation-building, expect the butterflies to fly freely as the newly turbocharged US throws its weight around and makes new mistakes for every old one it's learned from.

That all out of the way, let us discuss! (y)

Thank you in advance,
Zyobot

I read it long ago.It was stupid then, and is stupid now.
Why USA from 2002 simply do not nuke sralin? or,even kill with normal missile. They knew, when he was living.
And,they do not need concurents in future - so should destroy soviet union then and there.
Easy task, they would be welcome as liberators by everybody except NKWD thugs.

2.Why care about germans ? they started war, committed few genocides, and USA do not need them politically.Just disband germany and made Bavaria,Saxony and others free again

3.If they need friendly power in Europe, then only game there is Poland.Only we are stupid enough to support USA,everybody else would try backstab them.

So,what would happen? if they keep germans strong,and soviets united,then,after 50 years,another german-soviet alliance would start WW3.
Knowing both nations - starting with another genocide of Poland.
Just in time to destroy Earth to the point when our unknown aliens would have no problems with genociding what was left.

P.S What was most stupid - nazi thing. In 1942 everybody was saing germans.Nazi was discovered by germans in 1956 to made them less quilty.
Which worked, now average american think, that nazis was poles.

But,in 1942 IT COULD NOT WORKED.Everybody would see GERMAN death camps, and burned polish villages.
So,at least then, people from both TL would be fully aware that there was not any mythical nazis, but germans.
