What do your political views look like?

This "political sextant quiz" is a piece of irredeemable shit. Often two different positions hide within one question, and I may agree with one but disagree with the other, but I have to chose one answer. For example, "women have not achieved equality, AND they should be considered equal". How is that one question? I believe that women have already achieved equality or something incredibly close to it, yet I also think that equality for women is a good thing. So fuck me, I guess?

Anyway, 70% Classical Liberal. Sounds about right.

I always knew you were a Turk. Tests like this need to be National or regional. Kemalism makes no sense unless you are a Turk.
I had no idea what it was till I looked it up.
Hell, all I get for the first one is basically being called fascist

Somehow I'm 70% AnCap, fusionist, and some weird leftist thing I've never heard of.

That's...incredibly inaccurate. The 8 points quiz actually got me as a moderate conservative: market oriented, patriotic, moderate on the civic (slightly more authoritarian than libertarian) and relatively traditionalist. Which, to be fair, is probably where I stand for the most part.

The problem with the sextant quiz is that for way too many answers I had to choose "no opinion" like on the women and oppression bit, when in reality it's something I'd split into two categories.

Hmm, I'm centrist on every triangle except Freedom where I'm somewhat more heavily biased towards personal freedom (54%) and low on security (9%).

Hmm...even with the larger rounds of questions I got two different results, but the biggest consistencies are:

Economic: Anti-control (read: generally favor free market but there are *some* regulations needed for things like consumer protection and safety)

Security: Freedom, but with a fair amount of truth and security as well (50/30/20 split, roughly)

Socially: Traditionalist but not overly so

Equality: Anti-outcome (mix of equality of opportunity and a safety net for those who need it), definitely against equality of outcome.

Government: Centrist, with a bias towards democracy, then minarchy, then authority

Foreign policy: Centrist: Almost smack-dab in the middle

Edit: And to be fair that pretty much describes my outlook on politics.

This should surprise no one:

Economics: Full Market Points!
Personal Freedom: Freedom @57%
Culture: Freedom@63.7%
Equality: Burden@65.8%, with the rest in opportunity.
Government: Minarchy 60%
Foreign Policy: Split between isolationism and Imperialism, at about 40% each.

I think it fits pretty well.

Not bad, there are some questions I didn't like because I could tell they were a measuring lines orthogonal to the ones I'm thinking on. Like there are certain situations where I believe there should be strong tort law but absolutely no criminal law. For example we need strong slander and liable laws, but there should be no criminal law in regards to speech. I'm likewise particular with foreign policy, but since I believe that we should properly conquer any place we put boots on the ground for, I guess imperialist is the best fit.

That test is bullshit. I gave up about four questions in. Too many false dichotomies with no definition. For example it said "It is necessary for the government to intervene in the economy to protect consumers." Define "intervene." Are we talking about, say, uniform labeling on cans of soup, or price controls on everything sold to the public?" And protect me from what?

Another example: "Basic utilities like roads and electricity should be publicly owned." I've lived in some places that have well-run public utilities. On the other hand, if you live in Western Washington (like I do) you know about the shit shows that have gone on for years in the State Ferry system and the Port of Seattle.

I guess I'll call by self a curmudgeon and leave it at that.

Pretty dang close to center in most triangles, although I strongly tend to Imperialism in the Foreign Policy triangle, and have moderate preference toward Truth and Freedom in the Personal Freedom and Culture triangles.

Let's see...
8values puts me down as a capitalist fascists. Probably because I decided to use "Strong agree" and "Strong disagree" rather than that miletoast weak sauce.
The Political Sextant claims that I'm 93% Fusionist, 100% Paleoconservative, and -and get this!- 90% Celiphate. Bruh, I'm Christian, not Muslim. There's Dominionism as the alternative. My worst ideologies are (of course) Anarcho-Communism with -71%, Anarcha-Feminism with -88%, and Queer-Anarchism with -90%. Guess it got these at least right.
Now the Six Triangles quiz. In Economics, Equality, and Government, I'm classified as a centrist, with respectively leanings being Market, Burden, and Minarchy. Freedom, I got "Moderate Freedom", Culture gave me "Extreme Tradition", and Foreign Policy resulted in "Imperialism". Considering I had like two thirds in Imperialism and one third in Isolationism, I want to know how that's supposed to work. I mean, I got no percentage in Globalism.
