Here's what I would call myself if I wanted to save human civilization: a Civilizationist. A Civilizationist is someone who promotes the idea of the preservation of a civilization, on traditional grounds. Although it is difficult to define what a civilizationist can truly be, anyone who defends the traditions, cultures, and behavior of human civilization can be considered a civilizationist.

playing devil's advocate here, can't it go too far the other way as well? Couldn't being pure anti-society dive into "Reject the Sun Return to Cave" or "Reject Humanity Return to Monke"? I can't help but think there is something to the phrase. All things in moderation, plus as far as my own health goes I think I'd rather fall dead from a heart attack than die of starvation and/or Dysentery

edit: the comic seems more big liberal cities than anti-civilization. Churches are still a thing.
