Never played the Watchdogs franchise because it looked like a lamer version of Saints Row or whatever but I saw this advertisement on Steam so I became intrigued with the idea of a wacky out of left field versus match.
So here's the lineups...
Team WatchDogs... or whatever. I have no idea.
This is their 2029 versions I guess?
Reginald "Wrench" Blechman
Aiden "The Vigilante/The Fox" Pierce
Marcus Halloway
Raymond Kenney
Jordi Chin
Team Gears of War
This is their latest version... before any sort of poignant death in combat and the like.
Marcus Fenix
Dominic Santiago
Damon S. Baird
Augustus Cole
Kait Diaz
*glances*
Is this a mismatch? It feels like it might be a mismatch in some respects. Anyways carrying on...
Scenario One: TEAM DEATHMATCH
Location: Fort Constantine (Fallout 3)
Whoever defeats the other team in Team Deathmatch wins. Best of seven!
*For this scenario its assumed the WatchDog team has an equivalent high Science Skill and/or Robotics Perk (FO4 style) so they can hack into robots if they can sneak/approach them.
Scenario Two: Assault
Location: Safehouse (WatchDog: Legion)
The Geezers of Delta Squad (plus Kait) have been given the location of the DedSec Safehouse and want vengeance for some terrorist bombing those hackers did to their faction. The Watchdog team has one hour of prep with local sympathizers to defend their adopted kip before the Gears kick the door down. Retreat is considered failure of the scenario. Sure DedSec outnumbers them, but most of the WatchDog: Legion types are likely not particularly useful in direct combat!
Scenario Three: Competition
Location: Combine Earth (Post-Half Life 2)
The Combines center of power in City 17 has been destroyed during the course of the Half Life 2 campaign. The WatchDogs and Gears have been dispatched to a Combine-installed city similar to City 17 and after a briefing are placed in charge of identical Resistance groups located in the City. With the Combine Citadel disabled (but not exploded as that would destroy the city) the Resistance can either take over the city or facilitate evacuation of the Resistance and civilian population beyond the clutches of the local Combine forces.
Metrics for victory are whoever manages to build a more successful Resistance movement, reduces the Combine military and oppressive power more successfully and safeguards the most civilians.
