My attempt at creating banners for 18 of the 20 first founding space marine chapters. Inspired by Warhammer 40k artwork from Games Workshop & Forge World Books, Games & Transfer Sheets as well as works from Baka-Design and 40-Kun.

Good work, but I reckon Emperor's Children banner should be more gaudy. And I don't think Death Guard would use Nurgle sign before the Heresy.

I'm curious as to your inspiration for the 'White Scars' banner. Was that based in the lore and canon or something that can be attributed more to your whimsy and artistic interpretations?

Also I'm waffling between loving or simply liking the World Eaters design with how literal it could be taken. 🤪 It's simplicity compared to the others makes me want to take it as my favorite banner of the bunch... or merely just good like the rest of them, I'm not sure yet.

Not sure which banner is my favorite yet. I wanna say Ultramarines but I'm not that much of a loser.

The Death Guard banner isn't necessarily pre-Heresy. I used this symbol because I didn't like the pre-heresy one.

The inspiration for the White Scars banners is from combining elements of various Scars heraldry that were in one of the Forge World Books.

Yeah, its better there than the as the main emblem. imho.

Wasn't the Sons of Horus originally known as the Lunar Wolves chapter?
