Uncle Tom: Documentary on the History of Black Conservatives

Larry Elder released a new documentary last month. I was planning on seeing it, but with every theater closed I wasn't willing to pay twenty bucks to stream a movie even if it's unlimited until the end of July. It's also available on DvD but apparently it's on back order and I don't really feel interested in watching a doc I haven't seen for twenty bucks on a DVD quality home media.

With all that said, I still want to see the movie, just for a cheaper price.

It's described as an oral history of the Black Conservative and appears to be a collection of interviews with, and I quote *"some of America's most provocative black conservative thinkers,"* It features interviews with Larry Elder who was also the main writer of the documentary, as well as Jessie Lee Peterson, Allen West, Candace Owens and many others. The topics seem to include what made them become Black Conservatives as well as their viewpoints and outlooks being such a group of people in the current state of affairs in America. It peaked at a 9.8 on IMDB but now has dramatically dropped down to a mere 9.4 rating.

Also of note, for maximum irony and memery, they sell a wide selection of licensed Uncle Tom merchandise including tees, tanks, socks, stickers and organic TOTES!

Has anyone seen it yet or potentially interested in seeing it?

I've heard about it, but like you the price point has kept me from getting it.

PragerU and the film shared their interview with Herman Cain from the documentary.

"I have never worked with a Black person before. You have taught me never to judge anybody by the color of their skin."

What a story... :)

I actually really like the part about the masters degree even if now I think college degrees are worthless most of the time. I may have to get and see the movie seems pretty good has it triggered anyone yet I didn’t even know about it. Seems like something some people would throw a fit over

Just saw that the Uncle Tom documentary is available to watch for free on Amazon Prime. It's also available for rental and purchase for a fair bit lower price then the initial twenty or so bucks it was when released back in the Summer on Amazon or Vudu and other platforms.

And other platforms.
