That's right, starting at $4.99 a month you'll soon have the privilege to super follow someones Twitter accounts.

My first thought was, this is stupid, no one is going to want promoted/paid shit on Twitter. The platform is already shit enough.

My second thought then was, oh wait, there's a lot of artists and writers on Twitter who can monetize their content on Twitter which could be interesting.

Then my final thought was... What a wonderful new path to monetizing WHORING on Twitter. Sorry, I mean "sex work." The real trouble with the decline of Humanity was how inconvenient it was to follow these sex workers on PornHub (can't anymore unless your verified), various other pornographic websites of varied functionality and accessibility, as well as being compelled to utilize things like SnapChat, OnlyFans and/or Patreon to finance your degeneracy but now, thanks to Twitter, you can make it easy on yourself and your followers in monetizing your e-whoring. (y)

So actually, this might work out great for the Twitter platform...

FUCK!

Got to admit, when I first heard of this, my first thought wasn't "This is totally going to be used for porn". Can't argue with the logic though.

Wonder how much of a percentage that the pi- I mean, Twitter is going to take. Whatever it is, I guarantee you that E-thots are going to complain loud and often that it's too much.

I don't see how Twitter can fill a niche here that isn't already being serviced.
Bow chicka bow wow!

Considering there's a paedophile issue with Twitter and if it's possible to prevent randos from seeing the content posted in these groups or communities, would this make dissemination of paedophilia easier?

There was a report of Twitter refusing to take down child porn because it didn't violate it's policies even after the victim of the abuse requested they take it down.

Yeah this is gonna be 20% artists and 80% prostitutes
In fairness, that just describes the internet itself (Though that has more of the latter, less of the former, percentage-wise).

Twitter is hellish enough as is. I actually wonder if some of the idiots on the site trying to become payment-model wouldn't IMPROVE things.
More random assholes yelling, less media personalities who pretend non-asshole status?

Which is pretty good considering that PornHub apparently had to purge most of its content over supposedly hosting CP on its site.

That sounds like a wonderful way to get arrested. Can Twitter be used to prove whom posted what?
I should hope so but there is a legitimate issue of paedo accounts popping up, being active for a week, solely to spread CP, getting banned and then another account taking up the same thing.

That's partly true. There was rumblings from the government about CP on PornHub and rather than go through and vet all the videos, they just nuked anything that's not from an established studio so a lot of amateur stuff got yeeted. It's kind of understandable because fuck knows the number of videos they'd have to check and they'd have been given an impossibly short time frame to meet it but it most likely wrecked the incomes of a lot of amateur porn couples? I don't really know the terms for them.

The point being that Twitter isn't being held to the same standard here. As far as I know, no one in the government is making the same rumblings about Twitter that they did for PH even though Twitter is where all the pedos went after Tumblr got nuked.
