Trump Post Election News.

The Phule

The Phule on the Hill
Ask any abuser to explain themselves, and they will invariably try to paint themselves as the victim, and their victims as the abusers; which, from a disinterested outsider's perspective, can come across as "he said, she said".
I guess that's kinda the point. I am very much only interested because I enjoy watching people denigrate each other. Watching the politics and the election, for me, is a lot like watching reality TV. It's like watching Survivor, or The Bachelor. Or Hell's Kitchen.

I don't really care to do research on the parties. I'm just too dumb to fool. If things went well for me, I vote incumbent. If things went poorly, I vote other party.

I did give Trump a pass for Corona-virus though. Not technically his fault. I usually give presidents a pass on natural disasters. I gave Bush a pass for 9/11, for example.
I'd recommend you start with a comparison of the effects of Trump's and Biden's immigration policies. It's an issue that's both immediately at hand and easy to get information about.
I actually don't particularly care about immigration very much. It's not really a hot button issue for me. It's mostly just dry, technical, and I don't really give-a-fuck. Lock the boarders. Open them. Whatever. I have nothing to do with the borders and I don't live near them.

I hate politicians, but I've voted incumbent more often in the past few years of my life than I've voted opposition.

Okay, so you don't care; then why are you wasting everyone's time?

The left considers tactics used by Stalin, Hitler and Mao to be boycotting and "fair" and will defend it and are actually unable to tell the difference.

IF anyone they disagree with actually responds in kind, they will emit cries of NAZI!!, FACIST!! RACISM!!

We're literally at a place where people are being erased, unpersoned and unable to bank, but I am told to believe that everything is still totally fine.

This was Trump calling it boycotting though. So unless you consider him a leftist I'm not sure what the relevance is.

Yeah and all of that will come back to haunt them.

not now they have a nice 8-12 years before the next populist movement screams to life and this one will be much madder and more powerful.

I will never understand the conservative disdain for boycotting as a political tactic.

Companies that have proven that they hate you and would rather chase the leftist and Chinese money, have no right to your hard earned paycheck.

Find alternative brands that either haven’t proven that they hate you or just do what I did and stop consooming as far as media and entertainment goes.

Watch older shows and movies and read books that haven’t been tainted by the leftist. Stop giving Hollywood your money, stop paying the paycheck of actors that disdain you.

They have no right to your money, and it’s time that they are made to remember that.

The corporations listen to leftists because they screech, boycott, and drag the brand through the mud until they get what they want.

Conservative refusal to bite back when the corpos slap them in the face with leftism is a weakness not a strength.

Because it is a bluff.

When the left boycott, they weren't actually buying in the first place. Mainly because they don't have jobs.

But the right actually has jobs so they do buy stuff. It is hard to make your constituency not buy stuff, because being able to buy stuff it one of their main goals in the political process.

Plus some very big companies own a lot of smaller companies.

Try boycotting let's say johnson and johnson.

That's a HUGE amount of shit you can't buy. You're probably buying a bunch of shit you don't even know is JnJ.

So when a bunch of these mega corps start doing this shit...well you aren't left with much stuff to buy.

True, but that should not stop you from trying to limit what you buy from them as much as you plausibly can.

True, they would take less financial damage by being able to sustain themselves on the lesser known brands. But an effective boycott of their flagship brands would still send the message.
