Polish President Duda has been doing support events for Trump, trying to convince Polish-Americans to vote for Trump, because of how good Trump was for Poland.

And I don't begrudge this dude a thing, the Poles are one of the few NATO allies to pull their weight without the same complaints we get from the rest of NATO.

Agree.Trump MAYBE would sell us to Putin for sometching good,but Demorats WOULD gave us to germans and Putin for free.

I remember reading the statements they issued this weekend. The Port Operators said they were going to increase the Longshoreman pay by 50% and triple their benefits in the coming five or six years which sounded pretty nice since they're making on average 150K plus as a Longshoreman per years plus the bribes and other benefits.

Then the ILA released their own statements stating that the Port Operators are making billions of dollars more since the pandemic and constantly increasing the price of containers from like six thousand dollars to thirty thousand dollars or something and its being passed onto the American Consumer costwise while the port operators are making their glorious billions and not sharing it with the poor impoverished longshoremen.

And I was thinking... ya know, the Longshoremen maybe deserve the bank. They should share in reaping the profits I guess.

Then Dagget, the ILA President was giving blackmail videos and dropping F-bombs stating how his Longshoremen will shut the country down and everyone will be losing jobs and stores closing in a matter of days and inflation skyrocketing and President Biden better not do fucking anything and everyone is powerless to stop them and Wah Wah everyone hates the Longshoremen and has ignored "our suffering" or some shit and now it's like... I kinda hate this fucking guy whining and being a fucking blackmailing victim and his mafioso Union now. And the ILA is rejecting most automation and still demanding required "touch" fees to make more bank.

Then you read that USMX, the monopolist controller of all of the East Coast Ports, are all basically owned by foreign companies and nationals, including one owned by China... and you think... oh maybe the Longshoremen aren't so bad. Sure they'll criminal blackmailers who don't want to automate their jobs and leave our ports primitive, dangerous and antiquated so that they can work their Union jobs while America falls further behind in maritime industry.... but foreigners already control all of our ports... and apparently are price gouging us with their monopoly on the ports.

Then someone linked to the 2008 Longshoremen scandal which illustrated how the Longshoremen crews were tied up with organized crime rackets and bribery scandals and busting private and non-union companies and the like so as to safeguard the Union and how the current ILA President Daggett was indicted or whatever for financial felonies and criminal conspiracy charges and its like... do I want to support a fucking trade unionist criminal against foreign nationals who control our Ports?

Fuck...

Then I realized Pete Buttigieg is on the case and America has nothing to worry about. 🥰

I'm really not feeling the need to support the Longshoreman on this one. Modernize the ports you idiots so you can make sure your people are the ones that get trained to operate all the new equipment as well as become the trainers.

I've always felt that foreign nations should not be allowed ANY ownership of strategic assets. Port facilities are definitely a strategic asset. So there's that.
 
So slightly off topic, but how many of you wish to place a bet that Kamala Harris will 'negotiate' an end to this dockworker 'strike' fiasco?
