Um man there are a ton of government grants for RnD for colleges, and other labs and it is an obsene amount of money, we already functionally subidize a lot of those costs through taxes. What were really paying for when you see that bill is marketing.

Generally, price controls are stupid. But a most favored nation rule from the US, for the most socialized thing in existence? This is a smart idea. My guess is that the loser here will be the rest of the world, as prices go significantly up for everywhere else.
