I'm pretty sure no, given how few Trans there are, and the general ban on people with mental illness serving.

Up until 1974, it wasn't even possible. Even then, it was only the Netherlands. The US only let them in at all in 2016, until Trump said no.

That they were officially banned didn't mean some didn't sign up anyway. Screening would only catch people that went through SRS or had an official diagnosis for gender disphoria, and that would only be an issue recently. Back in, say, WW2 when countries were drafting as many people as they could, it's almost certain a few transpeople would have been drafted.

If they existed at all.

If we're just talking Gender Dysphoria, that's one, very rare, thing. Taking it seriously? That didn't exist until part way through the 20th Century.

Until mid 20th Century, it was just another, very rare, mental illness. There's vastly more now than ever before. Same as the whole "Non-binary" and the like.

It's just in fashion right now, that's all.

True, but if a woman or FtM transgender happened by a quirk of luck and genetics to be on the edge of the Bell curve for female size and strength, and managed to pass the exact same standards applied to men, then there shouldn't be an issue, especially if they'll mainly get into support positions rather than front line roles.

Of course the risk of being captured in war is much greater for women than men regardless of their physical and/or mental capabilities, since as POWs they're likely to be raped by an unscrupulous enemy.

With MtF transgenders there shouldn't be much of an issue since their physical abilities will be in line with most males.
I've met such a woman. She had 17 kids and looked like she could completely dismantle you without breaking a sweat.

Thoughts on Transgenderism and Individual Rights.

Transgenderism is a mental illness / sign of mental deficiency.
Just because it is currently trendy and cool and "the popular people are doing it", does not give it validation.
Children who consider themselves TG (often after much indoctrination) will often grow out of it and as adults, identify as cis.
Brainwashing a child to consider themselves as TG should be considered and prosecuted as child sexual abuse.
TG surgery, no matter how complete, does not allow for a TG 'male' to sire children, nor a TG 'female' to bear a child.
Thus, at its core, TG surgery is a cosmetic surgery money and fame grab; and those that practice it should be shamed.
TG athletes should never be allowed to compete against any other type of athlete.
TG, at its core, is a progressive liberal assault on historical nuclear family values; much along the same efforts practiced by Stalin and his cronies at their worst.

All that said: People who identify as TG are still people.
ALL people have natural rights that must be respected.
In the case of TGs, they are victims of a sick conspiracy. They need counseling and treatment & protection. Especially children. And while this may be wildly unpopular, when it comes to TG issues and science, I consider traumatized people as children until they are 24-26 years old. Maturation of the adolescent brain

And yes, I've posted this same statement to some very liberal discussion boards & have the hate mail to prove it.
I think it is vital to expose yourself to a variety of opinion perspectives.
It helps to strengthen and solidify those positions that one holds dear.

while I agree that treatment needs to be done in theory, the question is how do we go about this? Mental hospitals? trump deragment sydrome has pretty much made clear that one man's mental health facility is another man gula...I mean reeducation camp, same with forced treatment and if we let nature run int's course either they will do as they have and developed thier own propaganda centers or self-descrut and make the concept of the social contract look like a farce. Regardless of what we choose we are essentially signing our own death warrants long term

One of my nephews is FtM trans. When you mess with Lily he's got over 70 relatives who don't tolerate BS.

My nephew Marcus is FtM and is raising his girl while caring for my mother and her dialysis. I support the three of them with a house and I am grateful for the care he gives my mother. I'd really not have people mess with him or discount his right to be who he is. As I don't have children of my own, my nieces and nephews and their kids are as close as I will get and while he has had a rough childhood I hope I can help him get a solid new start. By my principles, he has a right to his own identity. In the end I don't feel I have the right to challenge him on making the change he has, he's had therapy and surgery and really if he was not committed I think this would have shown by now. I just hope it makes him happier.

the problem is functional transgenders even at face value seem to be a minority (and we don't even know how stable that minority is because full transgenderism as a full blown demographic are in their infancy. Meanwhile trans-trending is VERY much a real problem going on right now. We have an entire generation raised (and being raised) to believe that if you have an XX chromosome and you like drinking fighting and motorbikes then your either a lesbian or a male in a woman's body. and if you have an XY chromosome and you like Pink and watching musicals then you must secretly be Gay or a woman trapped in male flesh. We're having to fight a culture war on multiple fronts most of which we don't even know where the root of the true problem is. I mean look at any counter culture board and you'll see the blame of societal ills being put on everything from Globalism to The Enlightenment to Woman's Rights and with some even outright blaming the Jews for everything.

to say we are in a state of confusion right now is a gross understatement.

Did Marcus chose a new boy's name? Lilly couldn't but does think that Lilly is a wonderful boys name.

He did. Personally, I like Marcus, it's what I wanted when I was taking Latin but it was picked before I could pick so I ending being Marcellus in Latin class, but he didn't know any of that. I think he still needs to complete a legal name change, but he's not had a lot of money between his kid and surgery.

Marcus is a very good name. One of my nieces is named Marcus. Her dad is named Chloé.

I suggest you choose to either support the hell out of Marcus, or walk away.

What I've found out, well, there's a very high chance of suicide, and what little can be done is to seriously support said individuals. It's quite horrible to see a friend kill themselves, let alone a family member.

Good luck.

Support Marcus.

There are no if's ands or buts about this.

Look, my mom's an Alzheimer's case, in a nursing home. It's not at all the same thing, except in one way- There's nothing I can do. I can't help her, fix her, or pay to help in any way past what I've already done.

So long as Marcus is helpable, help as best you can is a good thing. But, when you can't hold somebody up any longer, you can only hurt yourself trying to carry them.

I am supporting Marcus. He's my youngest sister's second child, I changed his diapers when he was a toddler, was at the hospital when he gave birth, and now lives in a house I bought for my mom, Marcus and his daughter to live in. My mother can't use the right pronouns for Marcus but he loves his grandma and wants to make her last year's as good as he can. I'll be visiting them in like 6 weeks, I live out of state.

In a story that New York Times refused to cover, Journalist Abigail Shrier interviewed two top Doctors involved in Gender Transition... who also happen to be Transgendered, about topics such as detransitioning and puberty blockers and how gory gender reassignment (sorry confirming) surgery actually is and the lackadaisical nature of psychologists and Planned Parenthood in recommending these treatments to children.
