Only 10% of mammal species have males which actually sitck around to care for their offspring. With birds that drops to about 1%.

And more prominent perhaps considering a lot of recent news, especially regarding Lia Thomas. FINA, the International Organization that Oversees Swimming Competition, has also banned Transgendered Individuals who have gone through any part of male puberty from Participating in Elite Level Competitions. Instead they can participate in an "Open" Category.

A skilled man playing basketball is probably going to completely outclass a woman because he's taller, stronger, and faster.

It takes someone like Cheryl Miller, Lucia Harris-Stewart, or Ann Meyers for it to be somewhat fair.

Cheryl's little brother Reggie pretty much changed the way shooting guards play basketball because he had to shoot over her when he was a kid. Lucia and Ann were both drafted by NBA teams.

Edit: funny enough, I do believe that some sporting organizations, like the NFL have no rules against a woman playing in the male league, while they do have rules preventing males from playing in the female league.

Despite this, there isn't any female players in the male league of the NFL.

With sports where raw strength isn't a necessity women can do just as well as men.

With sports - like gymnastics, cheerleading, and figure skating - where agility and precision are paramount women have the advantage and the men often look like clumsy brutes.
