No, there's plenty of meat, it's just that in addition to the usual spine, fins, and ribs, trout have several rows of pin bones.

So while you can just glide a knife over the ribs of most fish and get a sizeable fillet, trout are notoriously hard to get a fillet off of without it being full of pin bones and thus inedible. Thus I disapprove of any recipe that relies on trout fillet instead of using other means to debone it first.

Now that pretty much explains it!

NC Governor Roy Cooper (D) appoints NC Court of Appeals Judge Allison Riggs (D) to the NC Supreme Court to replace former NC Supreme Court Justice Michael Morgan (D), who officially announced his worthless campaign for the NC Governorship in the Dem primary.

Cooper also appointed Carolyn Thompson to fill Riggs' seat on the NC Court of Appeals.

Now that the GOP Jackasses in the NC General Assembly have gerrymandered him out of Congress, US Rep. Jeff Jackson (D-NC 14th) has officially launched his campaign for NC State Attorney General in 2024.

If he wins, it'll set him up perfectly for either United States Senator in 2028 or the NC Executive Mansion in 2028 or 2032.
