If you type the-sietch.com, it does not redirect you to www.the-sietch.com, but the banner at the top will still link to www.the-sietch.com. They count as having separate pools of login cookies so someone who logs into one will not count for the other. Either of the links inside this post are going to show a logged out version of the website, unless you've already logged into both.

Why does "www" make a difference?

ComStar is pleased to announced that now that our major site update has been completed, we were able to assign some Tech Adept time to this issue and resolve it.

Users who were previously using the non-www URL as their primary login point will most likely need to log in again, but all logins moving forward should be redirected to the "www" version of the site address.
