I wonder what absurd shenanigans they used to show Beto 'Hell yes we'll take your AR-15's' O'Rorke polling at more than 15% in Texas.
Robert is popular with Democrats, Abbot is unpopular with Republicans. In a straight popularity contest its going to come close. Once the race starts we're going to see those numbers change pretty drastically. There is sadly a lot of blue-pilled types in east Texas that will give Robby boy's more asinine statements false context due to cognitive dissonance and the larger Texas papers are all in for the democrats. I don't think Abbot's in danger of losing, but its going to cost the GOP significant moolah to remind everyone of what Robert really is and that, I think, is the point. To pay the Republicans back for Larry Elder.

The annoying thing is that Abbot could pretty easily take the papers out of the equation by doing something big and flashy about the power grid, but he's refused to do so and I honestly don't know why.

Keeping my fingers crossed Abbott wins by double digits. I should he's NEVER lost an election since 1992 (including primary & general elections) when he was elected 129th District Court State Trial Judge. Abbott is (16-0) in overall elections & will likely be (18-0) after 2022.
