Post leftist memes here and get a laugh at them. Parodies also accepted.

I don't think this person's a biblical scholar.

I'm a bit slack-jawed at this combination of casual racism and subtle admission that abortion is heavily skewed towards eliminating minorities.

No really, how are you making this comparison? How on earth does a family promising to do something to save a child equate to Palpatine and Vader? How off of earth do the Star Wars villains even have the slightest relationship to adoption?

It took me a moment, but I think the answer is that if you oppose abortion, then that makes you the moral equivalent of Sith.

Hmm, I guess that kinda works but it's so much a stretch, and so irrelevant to the meme itself, that I have to conclude the left can't meme.

The theme for this set is originality.

Here we have a fine example that a couple of leftist meme failings at once. Too freakin' long because they lack self-restraint, using Conservative Man and Trad Woman to represent the left, and Soyjak to represent the right rather than anything original (Which wrecks the meme something fierce since the symbolism of each side like the traditional dress, beard, and glasses are reversed from which group would actually wear them). And of course, we get a "subtle" Nazi reference because there's always one.

This is impressively incompetent, as they tried to steal the NPC meme and apply it to the right, but picked two issues so similar the effect is ruined.

The left tried to copy the clown meme but this falls apart because the ending isn't an escalation showing a silly logical consequence, but a complete non-sequitur and a strawman all at the same time.

Though for lack of originality it's hard to top this laziness, they literally just pasted "The Right" over "The Left" in the original meme.

Zyobot

Just a time-traveling robot stranded on Earth.
Somehow, I doubt these people have the capacity for self-reflection to realize we’re laughing at them, instead of with them. (Even though making people laugh at your opponent instead of you is the whole point!)

Of course, when you dare to point it out to them on Reddit, they dog-pile you and clamp down on your profile hard, discouraging (and even banning) you from posting. And thus, the circle-jerk continues. 😡

Also, canonically when Vader did adopt a kid it turned out alright. Sorta.

4Chan fixed this Leftist Meme cartoon to be more accurate. This is so sad and horrible, and it really makes you think.

The left is the party of science and facts after all so this checks out.

The Left can't meme without a 14,000 word dump.

I could probably fix that one, and make it work,

"Actually, he did. I am glad you like it."

Boom, takes the same premise and then turns the insult on its head.
The desire to prove your the smartest guy in the room ruins many a joke.
Imma paraphrase (Don't have the book in front of me) comedian Dave Barry, who was speaking of the difference between WW2 Vets and Hippies in one of his books about growing up:

"Their parents sense of humor was a mix of laconic and gallows humor. But laconic humor requires self-restraint, which the Hippies never had, and gallows humor isn't funny unless you've gone through actual hardship, which they never had the slightest taste of. Instead, they turned to vicious satire and personal insults."

Memes by nature require laconic humor, and thus strong self-restraint, to create. The lack of self-restraint and self-control in leftist culture is the main reason they can't meme. Most directly, the lack of laconicism is why so many of their memes use five paragraphs where a sentence is called for.

I was actually thinking something similar while sticking to their three-panel template

"Nice outfit, did your husband make that for you?"

"Why yes, yes he did."

Oh...cool."

I mean come on left I don't even meme and that was an easy one.

There's another element to it; good memes work by making clever reference to Truth.

And that's something that the political left cannot abide, because it is something that at best they only have glimmers of, at best. The few leftists you find who can do some memeing, are generally the ones who aren't all the way down the rabbit hole, and, ironically enough, tend to be the remaining libertarian/left types.
