I've heard that this game is doing the tired "Revenge is bad!"

I find this hilarious. Leftist politics now is all about revenge and vengeance and yet they dare to moralize at us. Fuck off leftist shitheels.

Brought to you by Naughty Dog maker of Uncharted, Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Dexter and many others.

It's now out on youtube. That was fast. The video got killed.

But I have seen more from other spoilers. There's a LGBT romance scene? No lube too. Consider that when imagining it.

There's a bunch of Lets Plays being released on YouTube as of yesterday. Everybody from TheRadBrad and Shirrako down to those mere six digit subscriber count channels like ChristopherOdd and Pixelated Apollo have been uploaded videos of the game.

Since I'm not planning on playing it, it's nice that there are YouTube Lets Plays that can show me where my preconceptions are wrong or confirmed. After seeing the first couple hours, it does look like a beautiful game with lots of interesting characters and chemistry, but it's like one of those games where they seemed to stretch the cinematics and talking and scripted scenes out so long that the action seems brief and frenetic (which might be by design) but it makes it pretty boring/slow at least just by watching it.

Based off the first couple hours it looks like a good game and shockingly maybe even an enjoyable game but nothing that makes it close to the greatest game ever made. Plus I guess none of the controversy arose from the first few hours of gameplay. ;)

All the better to get hooked in right until the climax. :sneaky:

I heard from someone who watched it as it showed the controversy and the comments were negative.

Do western game companies and developers at least not understand Asia has diffrent views of SJW stuff? Besides a few creators, most Asian people dont give a shit.

4.5 means a very good game (90%) which is a far cry from the greatest video game ever made like Western review fappers are gurgling.

Still watching the LP's it does look good. But good grief there are so many scripted and cinematic scenes... The game play seems frenetic when it does happen and the graphics are beautiful. But the 'story' and 'characters' the only reason it can be considered good is because scripted and cinematic scenes take up a majority of the game.

It's supposed to be a game. Not a movie. It's like the difference between Wolfenstein and it's immediate sequel. Less game play and more bloviated cutscenes.

If you spend twenty hours of your thirty hour game telling people things about the story and character then it's not really 'the gameplay' that's telling the story.

And as is so far, yes the characters are more developed then say Days Gone (though not necessarily more likable) but DG had more open world gameplay and gameplay in general.

And character wise, Telltale's 1st season of The Walking Dead has better characters so far IMHO. This might be a good game but I don't see it as being revolutionary yet.

But we'll see.

Not quite, there's a music video, but no new music. V the musical usually comes out in September and October, with some spinoff albums over the year.

But that's what a Naughty Dog game is: A movie with some gameplay. That's what they make.

That's fine but the first TLOU seemed to have more actual game play (and a far stronger opening narrative) and since then we've had games like God of War and so forth which have more open gameplay, more gameplay in general and just as strong cinematic and characterizations without being mostly a movie. Things have moved well beyond the original TLOU.

Red Dead 2, hatebit or love it, has a lot of Ganeplay focus and great story
