Think you can just go around following the laws in other states and California won't punish you for it? Think again, Gavin Newsome is done with Walgreens after they obeyed the law and removed abortifacients from the shelves in states where they were illegal.

This isn't reparations for slavery, it's reparations for an urban renewal project in the 50s-70s that displaced a lot of black families when the neighborhoods were razed and rebuilt.
It is happening Latinos and Asians expecially do not like being forced to pay for shit that happened well over a hundred years ago that the state in question wasn't even involved in.
