Newsoms lockdown hurt a lot of small business people hair dresser, resturant owners, and their customers the man made an incredibly number of enemies who were very much impacted by his policies as in they lost their livelyhoods to him. Its probally best for him to just take the message step down and leave the state.

I'm thinking that, if things were going OK, this recall election wouldn't have been allowed. The Californian Democrat Machine won't allow Newsom to be recalled, as far as I can tell, but the fact this recall election is happening tells me things aren't going too well for Newsom.

I live here in California, but I'm not from here. Why I'll vote to remove Gavin Newsom:
1. He made it clear he's in with rules for thee, not for me during his lockdowns.
2. I dislike incumbents generally.
3. He's associated with lots of other filthy people but somehow never knew.
4. Fuck him.

I don't think you are necessarily wrong, but I'm open to opportunities. So many failed recalls in the past indicate you are right. But it did work before, just that once. Maybe it will happen again.
Newsome managed to piss off a lot of people small business owners most of all.
I honestly think for his own safety he should just resign and leave the state.

I should note VP Harris will be campaigning for Newsom in the closing stretch. Big question is whether Biden will be on the campaign trail too ?
