So from the discussion earlier of SanFran's delightful shoplifting epidemic, here's some new information. Apparently the thieves are just driving bikes into stores so as to more conveniently hole gunny sacks of goods.

I rather like the #NoConsequences tag though, it's a good punchy explanation for what's happening,

Looks like Target compromised. Instead of closing stores completely due to massive loss due to shoplifting, they'll merely close earlier... for now in San Francisco.

It seems surreal but if Newsom is recalled, does future Governor Larry Elder really only need a plurality of votes to win?

Because having a Governor Elder would be amazing... at least compared to the previous Governors since Ahh-nuld. I'm not expecting a Second Coming of Black Jesus or anything, but having Governor Larry Elder throw a wrench into Californian politics and policies for several years can only be a good thing.

Plus it'll be fun trolling the identity politics for a while talking about how great it is that California has its first BLACK Governor and the like.
