To me, this means tha Cuomo will be going down, probably soon. I'd rather see him being hanged, because him forcing COVID patients on elderly homes, but that's not something I can do anything about.
I see Cuomo either resigning (there's no way he'll ever surpass his late father's 12 years as NY St Governor) or being humiliated (see Blagojevich in IL) by getting impeached & removed from office.

Blagojevich got prison time, right? It's possible he gets it as well IF the Democratic Party gets PO'ed at him, but I don't expect it. Right now, my guess is he resigns after seeing no one will bail him out.

Let's not forget about Cuomo originally planned to run for 4th term in 2022.

The last NY St Governor to win a 4th term was Nelson Rockefeller (R) in 1970.

*Nelson Rockefeller (R): 49th Governor from January 1st, 1959 to December 18th, 1973: resigned

*Malcolm Wilson (R): 50th Governor from December 18th, 1973-December 31st, 1974: defeated in bid for full 4-year term in 1974.

*Hugh Carey (D): 51st Governor from January 1st, 1975 to December 31st, 1982: didn't seek reelection in 1982

Mario Cuomo (D): 52nd Governor from January 1st, 1983 to December 31st, 1994: defeated in bid for 4th term in 1994.

George Pataki (R): 53rd Governor from January 1st, 1995 to December 31st, 2006: didn't seek reelection in 2006.

Eliot Spitzer (D): 54th Governor from January 1st, 2007 to March 17th, 2008: resigned in disgrace due to prostitution scandal

David Paterson (D): 55th Governor from March 17th, 2008 to December 31st, 2010: didn't seek election to full 4-year term in 2010.

Andrew Cuomo (D): 56th Governor from January 1st, 2011 to August 24th, 2021: resigned in disgrace.
