The Streit Group is a UAE based Defense Armaments Company which is focused on making sophisticated armored vehicles in the United Arab Emirates, no doubt creating hundreds of jobs for South and Southeast Asians guest workers.

On his new job Seagal had this to say:

"I’m going to try stick with being a diplomat and, with diplomatic work, to help bring nations and people together.

I’m interested in weapons, military history, tanks and armoured cars and I’d heard about Streit, I was very impressed. [These] armoured vehicles are probably the best in the world.”

He's currently representing his new brand for IDEX 2021, a defense armaments expo featuring everything from Armenian loitering munitions to South Korean UGV's tbough Seagal is helping the launch of Streit Groups four new armored vehicles including the sleek, sexy and deadly Storm.

“I’m a shooter. I have thousands of guns. People ask me 'what is your favourite gun?' I’ll say 'for what?' Not one gun does everything and it is the same with the vehicles. But my favourite is the Storm. I love that vehicle."

“It is gorgeous and does a lot of great things. It goes on water, goes on land – it is armoured and bomb proof. That thing is amazing. If I could have any one of those vehicles, I’d have that one.”

The Storm does look like a Ferrari and an F117 Fighter had a baby (while on MRAP hormones).

The Streit Group was originally a Canadian company founded in 1992 before being purchased by the UAE in 2005. They have twelve production plants around the world including one in Ras Al Khaimah, their headquarters and enjoy over two thousand people. They're primarily focused on the construction of armored vehicles for commercial transportation, armored luxury vehicles, security vehicles and military armored personnel carriers.

The Storm MPV is also electric, which is good for the environment and for energy independence from Middle Eastern oil and all of the issues that could arise from dealing or investing in that region.

But its literally a UAE (ie Middle Eastern) company. Kinda defeats the point, buying your hardware that's supposed to make you independent from the Middle East, from the Middle East.
