Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
It was this one I remember.

I'm honestly sympathetic to the idea of Israel pushing the Palestines out of the West Bank completely. Play stupid games. Win stupid prizes.
It's a viscous cycle. Palestinian youth are incentivized to kill an Israeli and so the IDF take measures to retaliate possibly leading to collateral damage that can be deliberate to garner Palestinian sympathy and the cycle continues.

I remember their position was much better at a different time they could cut their losses but as people are stubborn especially with land transfers they went with the three nos and it didn't work out as well in their favor.

It's not that I think taking over the West Bank is a good idea or even a moral idea, but I get why you'd want to try and remove that threat permanently.

It's why I support the Palestinian resistance putting every single IDF soldier in a body bag. The only way to end Israeli aggression is to remove the threat permanently you know.
The difference is that I don't buy any sort of moral authority from the Palestinian side of things. They have none, it's been spend decades ago, if they had it in the first place.

Uh, that's not good...does Iran really want to see what will happen if Hezbollah uses one of those missiles against Israeli ships, or those of their friends.

Edit: Mixed up Hamas and Hezbollah for a sec.

I stand by the position that Palestinians are a deception as a term. There are only Arabs, and Arabs doing their holy war under a made up banner to not blow back on the rest of Arabs *again*.
People described as Palestinians are very much interested in not being ruled by Jews, but their desire for independence from the rest of Arab world is under a big question mark.
From another thread:

Zuheir Mohse, high ranking PLO official, 1977:
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality, today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct Palestinian people to oppose Zionism."

"For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."

Prince Hassan of the Jordanian National Assembly, 1970
“Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate.”

Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, an Arab Muslim leader, to Peel Commission in 1937
“There is no such country as Palestine! ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented! There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria.”

Syrian President Hafez Assad to Yasser Arafat
“You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people.”
The people whose quotes i've selected here aren't Zionists saying these things for their own advantage in the conflict, those are leaders of Palestinians and their Arab allies at arms (absolutely no coincidence there).

And something less usual, mentions of "Palestinian people" in written material recorded by Google:

@GoldRanger has there been any local news about this? Because this seems like the sort of thing that could go rather badly if it keeps happening.

They will try doing that, and Israel might decide to behave like Russia and expel all of the Palestinian Arabs en masse to Jordan.

Having crippling Western sanctions be put on Israel, like on Russia, seems like a better strategy in regards to this, no?

Which is a good way to topple the careful alliances/detente constructed at a time Saudi Arabia is already making moves with Iran to end things between them and Russia has already started supplying the Resistance Axis. The IDF is definitely terrified that attempting any mass ethnic cleansing will backfire quite badly right now, and for good reason.
