You know what? I applaud the developer's intrepid commitment to presenting a game that not only addresses, but incorporates into the game's structure itself, such fundamental messages about the interplay of sex and violence, the conflit between life and death, the eternal struggle between natural decay and procreation's renewal, on what seems to have been a restricted budget. Clearly these artists had nought but the highest of messaging in mind when developing their magnum opus, and the zombie-game shooter framework presented merely a starting-point for their masterpiece.
Iunnow...I can never be bothered to keep up with what Steam's policy on porny clickbait games is, so in a broad way I suppose it's neat that this can be made and sold. At the same time...Clearly a problem of rather crappy games getting sold marketing off of horniness rather than quality. But, if folks wanna buy based on their horniness...It's their money, ultimately. Not sure why you wouldn't just pop off to the literal massive repository of pornographic material available via the Internet, though...I suppose the unique draw of what appear to be very deep and well-written characters in 'Seed of the Dead' is what prevents that approach.
As an aside...I am fundamentally disappointed they seem to have split up the 'sexy' bits (if one can call that 'sexy') from the shooting bits. I mean, if they're going to eleven in ridiculous and zany anyways with sexual healing in the zombie apocalypse, they might as well fully commit and have some kind of on-rails shooter sections pop in during the 'sexy' bits where one has to aim and shoot with their character's firearms while controlling the character interaction as well.
But I suppose that would require two hands so the developers naturally avoided it.
